Difficult to work with

Although the product looks great, as a DIY’er, I found it difficult to install and the accompanying directions were not very helpful. I needed to call the company for help which was somewhat helpful. I ended up over tightening one hinge without understanding why. The good news was that the company sent me a new one at no cost but couldn’t explain what I did wrong

Shipped quickly, arrived ahead of time, easy install with instructions. Also, they had in stock what I could not find locally.

Exactly what I was looking for.

We needed hinges, my normal source did not have in hand and would not be able to get in time for the door installation. These worked perfectly, came with a tool to make adjustments to the spring, arrived in very short order (were supposed to get next day but it was second day). Plus a decent price.

The real deal

This a real National branded hinge - identical in design to the old Stanley hinge I'm replacing. Easy to install and adjust, it came with screws for both wood and metal, as well as the hex key to do the tension adjustments. The instructions are complete and easy to follow. I've always had good experiences with real National branded hardware, but it's easy to get fakes on Amazon.
