Extremely durable

I used these for grunt work around the firehouse and they’ve held up extremely well. Soak them in hot water, put them on wet and just do things until they dry out to break them in and they’ll mold to your hand.

Gloves look nice but have lots of small fragments and fibers of rawhide dust in the gloves.

Nice gloves. I ordered X-large and the gloves seem to be XX-large. Leather is OK thickness. Feel nice on the hand. Slightly flat but likely due to being shipped. Will order again if they hold up to use. Good gloves to keep in the car/truck.

Good general labor gloves

I purchased these gloves so i wouldn’t ruin my welding gloves doing miscellaneous stuff around the shop. They work great, protect your hands, comfortable and proper fit and they slip on quick with the elastic golf style design. unfortunately the seams on the index finger didn’t last long. but the finger pads and palm wear fine so far.

Perfect Price Point

Comfortable, durable and last me about 18 months. I think for me, this is the best work glove for around the house and farm type chores. Someone needs to come up with a finger-tip-kit because it's always my middle finger that wears out. No joke. On my right hand it's always the middle finger that wears through. If there was a kit where you could sew on a new finger section, I'd probably get another 18 months out of them.

Best work gloves I’ve owned

I do a ton of work around my house and wear these gloves constantly. I have gone through dozens of pairs of different types and these have been the best I’ve owned. I use them for shoveling, planting, trenching, tree and brush removal, mulch and stone moving and general yard upkeep. They are comfortable and tough. I am on my second pair in 6 years. I still have my original pair but after three years I wore a hole in the end of one of the fingers. Most recently I installed 200 feet of gutter guards around my house. These were the stainless steel mesh easyon gutter guards. Full of sharp corners and strands of stainless steel which can tear your hands up. I did not get a single scratch over two days with these gloves on. I have done my research and like I said worn dozens of other gloves and these are the best IMO. Just get them.

What you'd expect from mechanix

These gloves are durable, full leather and soft and supple from the packaging. They aren't thermal but if you're looking for a good quality work glove, you've found it.
