This bad boy bailed me out!

Dropped a tiny piece of metal allll the way into the bottom of my motor and was able to fish it out with this easily. It's flexible, but not flimsy, and thin enough to fit in cramped places and maneuver around corners.

Oh boy howdy! Couldn't a replaced the battery without 'er!

I'm sure I'm not the only would-be home mechanic who likes to take care of things myself. Yeah, I managed to buy the right battery and got the negative cable disconnected just fine. Wouldn't ya know it though, my hand started shaking as I was loosening the nut on the positive. I give myself credit for attempting these minor fixes, at 74. ;-) But how the heck was I going to get that small open-ended wrench up out of the engine. And where was it anyway? I tried and got my hand into every possible opening, but no luck. Whatcha gonna do? I don't know about you, but I did try ~ phoned first, since it was COVID-days ~ locally but none of the two hardware stores in our small town had a magnetized any kind of tool. So I wen to Amazon, and there this was, able to be shipped to me in two or three days. If you have the need I did, it's worth pressing pause, doing something else. As soon as it arrived, I was able to fish here and there in places my hand wouldn't fit, and Voila! Job completed in minutes. Plus I now own a Master Magnetics 07229 Bendable Magnetic Pick-Up Tool for the next such job!

Saved me a set of AirPod Pros!

Just wanted to say this little $10 magnet saved me from having to buy another set of AirPod Pros. In my kitchen, under the cabinets, there is a small 2”x2” hole in the base board, to which if I tried a million times, I could never bounce anything inside of it. Well, just my luck, my left EarPod decided to take a leap of faith into the void deep under my cabinets. Knowing the tiny speakers are magnets themselves, I ordered this little tool to save my AirPods from the fate of the nether realm. This little gem just payed for itself about 20x in about 10 minutes of fiddling and flashlight glory on my kitchen floor. Anyway, I’m sure I’ll find more practical ways to use it but had to share my tale of desperation and victory!!!

Perfect to get bolts stuck in engines!

Don't normally right reviews - but this one deserves it. I'm an avid garage mechanic and I had a 10mm bolt that got stuck between the intake manifold and the block... Ford 5.4l 3v... (Decent engine - awful design) I tried unsuccessfully for a long time with my fingers, screwdrivers, angled pliers, etc... trying to get the bolt out, but it had become wedged so that you could only slightly move it with your finger and none of the aforementioned implements would assist. Fast forward 2 days. I got this and it was out within 20 seconds of wiggling. This gadget is incredibly strong and the bendable portion is incredibly stiff. I bent it into an angle that would fit under and around the intake manifold while then directing it to the bolt with my fingers. Once it latched on to the bolt all I had to do was wiggle it free. I was so surprised by it. 5 stars and into my tool box it goes! If you have anything magnetic that is stuck somewhere - try this guy. It will probably work for you!

Dishwasher repaired

My dishwasher was not draining. Had to take it apart to clean the filter. As I did so, one of the ball bearings dropped down the drain. Tried flushing it back out to no avail. Used this flexible little magnet and voila, got the bearing out. I used most of the length of this tool. Not a super strong magnet but did the job and saved me the cost of a plumber. Had it not been so flexible, I would not have been able to reach the bearing as it went pretty far into the hose.

Excelent tool

I dropped a tip of screw driver in the area of a portable generator which was not visible. The magnet tip picked up the tip without problem, it just came to the magnet. I believe the strong magnet and flexible extension were the key to do this. I woud point out though there was not magnetic materials were not present around the area. I am not sure how it would have worked if the sourrounding matelials were steel.

works Ok

works good for screws and bolts, small tools (like screwdriver bits) however will NOT hold 2lbs weight.. you be lucky if you could pick up a screwdriver with this magnet . but for nuts and bolts and small things, its good. unsure yet how well it will last over time where the shaft is a soft metal and not a wire so I'm thinking like all things metal, bending it over and over in similar spots will cause this to break, however that is unknown at this time .

Pas un flexible mou* Tige en métal résistante

« Mini » devrais être ajouter dans la description ou titre. Je n’ai jamais regarder la grandeur écrite dans la description vu les photos. La tige n’est pas un flexible mou. Ont peux le plier mais ce n’est pas ce que je recherchais. L’aimant est bon pour des petites vis et douilles. Maximum 2 lbs, je ne suis pas sûr de ça. Je ne suis pas satisfait..

Already has helped me find some lost screws. Does what you need it to, plus the bendability really helps to get around crevices. Looks a little funny after bending it in wierd ways after awhile, but easy enough to re-straighten with a vice.
