It’s very cute!

Like many reviewers said, it’s impossible to get the lower part of the handle into the mower. I tried, even banging it with a mallet, and then it was just wedged in at an odd angle.And I couldn’t get it back out. So I squirted some 3 in 1 oil in there and out it came and also easily slid back in so I could screw it down. Haven’t used it yet but for my little zero lot it should be fine.

Easy to use

This little plastic mower does a big mowers job..mowed like a professional. Was easy to assemble and easy to use. It was better then expected. Well worth the price. Only used it once so far. Was the cost of a Gardner for one service so has already paid for itself.

Great for small yards.

Easy to assemble. Easy to maneuver. Cuts well and picks up grass well. Nice to have option of a side chute or bag to bag clippings. Could use something to provide for wrapping of electric cord when finished (reason for an overall 4 vs. 5 stars)

Great little machine

Awesome, even fore tall grass. I am able to tilt the mower at an angle and then do a second pass. Cuts thick high weeds down too. I have only used it with the shoot on high grass and the bag with short grass. definitely worth the money.

This little green machine zips through your lawn like a razor, with lightweight handling, and easy assembly! This is my second one in 12 years, and I LOVE it!

You must keep track of the cord

This little mower does a great job cutting the grass. I have a small city lot but I got this for the basket so I could just mow leaves up. I am surrounded by trees & get alot of leaves plus neighbors on both sides of me are lazy & don't clean upyou will love this thier leaves & the wind blows them on my front & back yard. Back to basket, works great I just wish it was bigger so I didn't have to empty it so often but even having to empty it often it's still alot easier & faster to clean up leaves. If you have a small lawn buy this.

Great Value

Light weight. Simple to assemble for one person. Easy to operate. Sounds like a fan when it’s running. Not very loud. Easy to push. Blade has 3 settings of high, medium and low. Easy to adjust. Cuts great. The bag is a good size for the mower but I did have to empty it multiple times for a small overgrown area. Very pleased with the purchase. It was delivered quickly. Packed well.

Surprising

You ever buy something thinking "this is gonna suck..." and it didn't? That's the best explanation I can come up with for this thing. I bought it completely exceeded all expectations. Works incredibly well. I'd recently purchased a string mower/trimmer. It couldn't handle my yard very well in mower mode. I used it four times and got sick of it. We live in a duplex. Our front yard is something 100' L x either 6' W or 15' W, depending on how close you're standing to the street. The back yard is 30'x30'. I kept my stringed machine to use as a trimmer. Pros: Super light weight Quiet Plenty of power Doesn't smell like gas Easy to operate Easy to assemble Kill switch for when the bag is too full So, the best thing is that thing can handle a really badly overgrown lawn. My backyard was full of crabgrass, plus some Bermuda sod. It had been raining almost constantly for the last month, so it was wayyy out of hand. It actually cut it! On top of that, it's much lighter to push around than any gas powered machine and doesn't stink like a gas machine. Really quiet, too. Controls are easy. Push the start button then close the lever to keep it running. It took me 10 minutes to put together, sitting in my living room floor. Cons: Dragging an extension cord Bag is too small Side discharge is messy Any plugin electric lawn machine is going to be mildly annoying. You get used to that. I learned to walk in straight lines instead of walking in a square to keep from getting tangled up in the cord. Not that big of a deal. This thing REALLY needs a bigger bag. As stated, my yard was out of control. I filled the bag up in two rows and had to dump. I finally got sick of that and just used the side discharge. That works, but looks pretty bad. I had grass all over me and the sides of the fence. That's my own fault, not the machine. Conclusion: Would I buy again? Yup, definitely. This machine is awesome for a small yard. Just learn to walk in back and forth straight lines rather than walking in a square so you don't run over you extension cord.

Amazing mower for the price!!!

This is the best lawnmower for a small yard. It does a great job. It's easy to assemble (took 10min max), easy to operate, sucks up all the grass into the grass shoot attachment. Love it!!! Wish I bought it sooner. Even though its exterior is all plastic, it feels like a good little mower!!! I saw another review where someone added eyes and I thought that was super cute so I did it as well!!!

Very reasonable deal

This lawnmower purchase was a very nice deal. I got a $35 discount by signing up for the Amazon credit card, which immediately reduced the lawnmower price. The package arrived 3 days earlier than estimated. I was able to assemble it in half an hour. The hardest part was inserting the metal handle into the plastic body - it takes some force, but it fitted OK. The wheel height adjustment has 3 levels. I plan to wedge a piece of wood into the open axel slots to prevent the height accidentally changing (lowering) when operating on a bumpy lawn. This machine uses an induction motor, unlike my last electric mower that used a Universal motor with high torque at startup. The induction motor takes about 3 seconds to wind up to full speed, but worked well even in thick grass. If it stalls, just tilt the handle back to get the cutting blades clear of the lawn and allow 3 seconds to get the speed back to full power. This motor has no brushes to wear out, so the only other part that may one day wear out (in maybe 20 years) is the electric switch. This machine even came with a spanner, which makes it convenient to remove the blades for sharpening (I have my own bench grinder for this purpose). My wife commented that the machine looks cute, like a toy. Regardless, it works like a proper mower, so with care I hope to make it last at least 10-20 years like my previous machines.

Excellent compact Electric Lawn Mower

Love this small size, lightweight , compact yet powerful Lawn Mower. Excellent for small size lawn and very easy to assemble/move/store. The 13-amp motor with 14-inch blade provide more cutting/crushing power than others with 21 inch blade as I need to use it to crush lots of autumn leaves each season. *** Update after 1 year of light usage(20-30 cutting) the motor/blade not able to spin any more, So I need to drop the rating to 1 star, not recommended.

Broke 1st use

Unfortunately I must have gotten a lemon. Reviews are very good. I had to struggle to put the handles in, was afraid to break it would not get in.Then not even 5 minutes after starting first use, front wheel falls of and there seems to be a broken part inside. Can't put it back. I had to return the mower. Will use my old broken down until next year as I was spooked by my experience. Still waiting to make sure my return goes well and my credit comes through. It great that returns are simple but still for a big item it would be nice if Amazon offered a pick up option. I don't drive and I had to enlist someone to bring it to the post office.
