I received a sample of this from Sephora and being a black girl, with black hair I assumed this was not for me. Boy was I wrong! I have natural hair, no perm and my hair is cut in a bob. This product keeps it straight and adds a weightless shine. Love it!

So I’ve always heard about girls finding their “holy grail” products and I’ve never been lucky enough to find mine until maybe now??? I’ve only used it once and I’m astonished. I have thick coarse hair and only used a small amount. A little goes a long way. I will easily get 10-12 applications out of this if not more. How I used it I watched the video on the Amika YouTube channel because I had read reviews on this making people’s hair tangled. I shampooed and conditioned as normal, wrung out as much water as I could from my hair the applied it to my hair in 4 sections so I was sure I had gotten every stand. I found it easiest to squirt about a quarter sized amount in my hand then rubbed them together then smoothed it over the section followed by finger combing. I applied to my roots and all. It did not make my roots greasy in the slightest I kept my hair wrapped up in a t shirt for about an hour (like I always do) and when it came to blow drying my hair it only took FIVE MINUTES!!! It normally takes 15-20 minutes in a normal day. I was a little concerned at first because my hair was so soft it felt light weight and airy…. Like it was just going to float away but it didn’t thankfully lol. Once I ran my flat iron over it (my hair is naturally curly) it made it soo sleek and silky but maintained that lightweight bouncy texture that I’ve only ever gotten after a salon treatment! Only con I can see is the scent. I love it and think it’s amazing but it’s strong and it lingers…. Going in 12 hours at this point. So if strong scents bother you or your loved ones this may not work for you. If you’re hesitant about the cost don’t be. It will last a good long while if used properly. I will update if anything changes!

Adds shine and softness
I have color treated and highlighted hair. I used Amika Flash for the first time today. It reduced tangles and added significant softness and shine. I'd recommend and I will add this to the ever growing list of my favorite Amika products.

I like this product and it does what it claims, it adds shine instantly but you need to use a lot of it; I was upset about the leaking but I won’t return it

Absolutely LOVE!
First, I LOVE Amika! This stuff is Amazing! I first got a sample bottle of it& was blown away by the results! It is a liquid, so even though you completely cover your hair- a little goes a long way. The small sample bottle gave me 4 uses- my hair is shoulder length.It also smells Amazing! Highly recommended !!

Honestly, this stuff is gold. I've tried hundreds of top of the line hair products over the past few years after going from nearly black hair to platnium. As you can imagine, my hair has been through it and I also have thyroid issues which makes my hair dry. This is the only product I consistently stick with. My hair hasn't been this soft and 'movable' since before I ever dyed it. You know how you can use the same shampoo and conditioner combo and still get some days where it's good and others it turns out completely different? I never worry about that now, my hair always turns out super soft and flowy every time I use this. Also, it smells amazing!!
