Scratchy

Just got this and I’m torn what to do. The pattern is beautiful. But the fabric on the navy side feels like a potato sack. The side that is supposed to lie next to the bed is nice and soft. Sitting on this duvet when the bed is made would be like sitting on a hotel bed - starchy and scratchy- and turning the duvet over to change the look would be impossible because you wouldn’t want to sleep next to the scratchy side. Ok, that convinced me. It’s going back and I will keep searching.

Nice two-sided duvet with shams

We're pleased with the quality of this cover. It has bold stripes on one side and a tiny flower pattern on the other. The cotton fabric is soft and it came with matching shams. The queen size is a good fit on the bed.

Nubby cotton in a giftable zippered bag

Really nicely turned out duvet cover and pillow shams in a soft and nubby cotton finish ( a jacquard pattern with subtle details) on the outside, smooth on the bed facing side. The cotton fabric is substantial but soft and quite comfortable. As befits a name brand, the craftsmanship is first class throughout. I like the nubby texture provided by the pattern and embroidery, some may find it a bit rough. My queen size was perfectly at home on my queen sized bed--neither too big nor small.

Great Color, Really Looks Good

I really like this duvet set, especially that it's all cotton. The top side is a little rough but not in a bad way, it's like linen, but the bottom is nice and soft once it went through the wash. The color and pattern are bright and not muted or blurred. I did put it on a full sized comforter and it fit well with room to spare, so I imagine it would fit a Queen size ok. It does have a button closure on the comforter cover, lots of buttons, but it works well keeping the comforter cover closed. The pillow cases close with zippers and are on the small size, they probably won't fit large pillows very well. I think it looks quite luxurious and really brightens up the bedroom. Very happy with this set.

Martha! Martha! Martha!!

Just fantastic. Very very silky smooth cotton. Gorgeous colors. Fits my pillows and comforter perfectly. My only issue would be that the duvet cover has buttons instead of a zipper but so far they are staying buttoned. I just love the colors on this set. It looks and feels fantastic.

Like Staying in a Fancy Hotel

Ordered the Carden Iron Gate pattern, it's beautiful. The quality is top notch. The 100% cotton is very soft. The neutral colors go well with my sheets. The queen size is perfect for my comforter and bed. Makes the guest room look like a fancy hotel.
