Weak Plastic

The type of plastic is weak. It breaks too easily. The panels snap together, and snaps do not hold when weight is applied. I would rate them to hold no more than 40o lbs. Definitely, do not stand on them. They will collapse.

Good Little Step Stool

I got this step stool to help me get into our pick-up truck. It was cheaper than running boards. It is easier to use and when I get in, my husband just slides it behind my legs in the front seat. It does require an extra person to pick it up and put in the truck. My husband is going to put a tie-down strap on the handle to see if I can pull it up by myself without getting hurt or hitting the inside of the truck. I do feel comfortable stepping on it with all my weight. It does give a bit if you step on it right in the middle or over the handle, but not enough to cause me any concern. It works great for me as long as I'm the passenger. I'll update the review when we see if we can come up with a way for me to get it in the truck by myself. I would say that is the only drawback. Too far for anyone to bend over and get from the seat.

Great step

I have multiple screws. And it’s difficult to get in and out of all I am vehicle such as an SUV and some vans. The small stepstool and allows me to get in and out of our families vehicle and travel safely. Thanks for having a great cry

Item as described

I mostly use this item as part of my physical therapy exercises to practice stepping up and down in my home that doesn’t have steps. As advertised, it is sturdy, lightweight and a good value.

Good product

Quick set-up, quick take-down. I bought mine for getting into my car, because SOMEBODY FORGOT to tell "Detroit" and other auto manufacturers that SOME OF US ARE ELDERLY AND/OR SHORT, and have the devil's own time getting into vehicles with 17" tires and raised door sills! (The rest of the car is fine - getting out, I have gravity to help!) This product seems to be well-made and I love the collapsible feature. I've strung a long piece of 1" nylon webbing through the handle, so I can yank on it after I'm into the car. This effectively collapses the foot-stool. Then I can pull the unit up and put it on the floor of the passenger seat. You'll need to get probably 2 or 3 yards of belt webbing, and have someone help you find out how much you'll need for the entire procedure of being able to hold onto the strap as well as the door handle, and then, as soon as you're in and sitting, be able to yank the strap up and pull the collapsed foot stool into the car.

Depends on your need

I weigh 130 lbs - and it feels like it may give out on me soon. I don’t recommend it for someone heavier or for frequent or pounding use. Otherwise it’s fine.

just enough to help get into the car

We have a 96 yr old friend and she can't get into the car. Her legs and knees are so sore she cant always lift them. So when I saw this little stool, it was just high enough for her to step on and get into the car and my little truck. And she just loves it. I have one for each vehicle and one for me in the kitchen. love them.

Good product

Right high to allow for proper distance between the ground and first step, practical open and close for easy storage when not in use. a little stiffer would have made the item excellent.
