Well constructed.

one crack but otherwise solid, very capacious
Like many Lipper products, mine arrived with a crack in the back-panel. It looks like it had been glued in place that way, too, during finishing. Fortunately, I expected this, and a dab of wood-glue plus a few firm whacks with a hammer made everything smooth and lined up again. The rest of it was nicely finished and solid. This is a large item, wider and taller than I was quite expecting, even having looked at the measurements. That was good for me, because it can fit a roll of duct tape in one of those lower drawers, with room for my mini-binder-clips left over. The upper sections are deep. The upper upright section holds a set of greeting cards on its side and just shows you the very edge of them. The middle upright section will hold pens and pencils securely. The lower upright section can either hold a whole lot of paper clips or a square of posit notes easily. All together, I'm quite satisfied with this purchase. Just have your glue and hammer handy, if you order it.

Mediocre construction
I bought this to use as a pattern for making similar items made from oak. Given the mediocre construction it is severely overpriced.

Well constructed
The bamboo desk organizer is made very well. Heavy bamboo construction. Looks like it will hold hope to my husband's daily use. The only negative, the drawers are a bit snug. Which, now that I write this review, I believe I remember reading a prior review saying the same thing! I rubbed a bit of candle wax on the edges and it's moving smoothly now. Though, I may have to use sand paper on edges, as another buyer did, if it doesn't work permanently. Wish the desk organizer had a cut out handle on the back, as my husband will be using this as a "bill-pay center" and wants to carry this to the kitchen table where he pays the bills. (and I DO NOT want this thing, nice as it looks, sitting on my dining table 24/7. I also ordered the matching mail sorter. It too is made extremely well. Too bad the two pieces aren't the same length and/or depth so they would look nicer side by side. Guess we can't have everything, can we?!! Hoping between these two items my husband will get (and stay) organized and my kitchen counters will stay uncluttered.

Pricey, but keeps the desk tidy.
The drawers don't fit 3x5 cards standing straight up, which is a bit of a drag. As long as they're slightly tilted (i.e., you can't fill it completely), they'll fit, so that will do. I bought one and felt so organized that I got another (I teach & this is going to make my desk FEEL organized... even if it's not actually organized...). As something to simply shove office supplies into, it might be pricey, but it does look nice, and bamboo is a renewable material, and can you really put a price on FEELING organized even when you're not? So, if you're someone who understands the value of funhouse mirrors that make you look tall & skinny (thus entitling you to go get a funnel cake) you'll understand the value of this.

Perfect for Charging Devices
I got this for a specific purpose hoping it would work and it's awesome! The drawers hold cables and chargers, the three front slots hold iPhones/iPods (not sure about the 6 Plus but my 6 has plenty of room) the middle row can hold an iPad Mini and another phone (a bit wider so I think a 6 plus would fit here), the back slot has plenty of room for a regular iPad. This has really cleaned up the night stand. It's well made so it would be great as a regular desk organizer too.

wish i hadn't paid so much.
Quality is not great. The wood pieces inside the top part were broken off. I was easily able to wedge it back in and keep it in place with some super glue. the front piece separating the two drawers is also cracked. just disappointed in how much i paid compared to what i got. the drawers are too deep as well. not a convenient shape to be able to see into.

Not in Great Shape
This is a very nice looking unit, however it arrived all falling apart, a side panel completely off. The glue is totally dried out, and the panels are starting to split, which means this has been sitting somewhere a very long time, perhaps in a hot place. It did have a California sticker on the bottom. I waited so long for this to arrive that I decided to keep it and fix it myself. There was no reason to believe a replacement would be in any better condition anyhow.

A little pricy, but exactly what I needed and I really like it. Fits a lot of stuff and different size slots. Drawers nice. Looks good. Glad I bought it.

Falling apart in upper compartment
The first one I ordered was falling apart. The dividers in the upper section had all come loose from the container itself. Looks like they use a lightweight glue, that obviously doesn't hold, to attach these. I sent this one back and ordered a replacement but the second one was also in the same state. For the price of this organizer, a person shouldn't have to repair it first before using. I would not recommend this item.
