Best welding gloves!

I have bought dozens of welding gloves from cheap harbor freight gloves to really expensive welding shop gloves and these Lincoln gloves have held up the best. They are great at holding the heat for longer periods of time and tend not to melt and harden as quickly as cheaper gloves. They are thicker then most, very well made and have lasted longer then any gloves I have bought in the last 25 years. This is my second pair and I am still on my first pair I bought last year. I weld and fabricate about four to five months a year and that's nearly every day during spring and summer. Quality per dollar these are the best I have found so far.

Poor Quality

Purchased these gloves about two years ago. As a hobby welder in a home shop my last pair of Craftsman welding gloves lasted 20 plus years. These lasted less than 18 months. Although they worked fine, the fit in one finger was tighter than the other 9 ( poor quality ) and they came apart rather quickly ... not worth the money from a durability view point ... would suggest looking at other options

Great for smoking meat!

I bought these to use when smoking meat. They definitely do the job when handling hot ribs and brisket. They're also less expensive than dedicated BBQ gloves. Recommend!

best glove I have used

I have been welding as a hobby/side job for about 10 years, I've used lots of different gloves but these are the best by far for the price! I have a pair in my truck and take a pair camping for using around the fire, they have great heat resistance and are easy to pick things up with unlike the gloves that are cheaper.

Comfortable fit

Tried these on at a retail store and liked the fit but the price was on the high end...Comfort & heat resistance I can attain to...durability not sure, I dont use these on a daily basis.

when you grab hot stuff the leather changes color but that doesn't seem to effect the porformance

so much of an upgrade over the home depot special Lincoln electric ones I had before
