I would buy a different brand, here's why

I would buy a different brand, here's why: 1) The stainless steel Kohler used in this sink is prone to show spots a LOT. Much more than other stainless steel sinks we have. 2) The zero radius corners are totally impossible to clean. Yes' it looks clean and modern - until you actually start using it on a daily basis. Then you want to kill yourself for not listening to this review. 3) The "sound deadening" material is a complete joke. There are a few tiny pieces randomly attached to the metal. It has less than 10% of the sound deadening material of Zhune. 4) You are probably buying this only for the "name" which is a joke because there is nothing special about Kohler. If you want the best sink, I would recommend a different brand that has full sound deadening material, better stainless steel and NOT zero radius corners. ** I am attaching photos of this Kohler sink and a Zhune sink. The ZHUNE is better by every metric (finish, ease of cleaning, less water spots, more sound deadening material )

attractive, well-fitting sink that comes with a matching and well-fitting sink "dish holder"(???). i added spray insulation/sound deadening from a can bought from home depot. sound is a non-issue. my only concern is that the so-called "vault" could be "vaultier" so that waste items in the sink would more easily drain with water.

Looks great. NOT an easy overmount swap.

Well... once it's in it looks great. But be aware- if you have another Kohler 33"x22" overmount sink and think that you're going to remove it and simply slide THIS Kohler 33"x22" sink into the pre-existing spot- think again. You WILL be cutting into your counters. Ask me how I know. This sink is huge. I took a bath in it last night and am going to try taking a nap in it in about an hour. I've been up for 97 minutes straight, and that is simply exhausting. Some have pointed out that water doesn't seem to flow to the drain all so easily. This is true. I would have preferred a bit more of a slope. But I do not find the corners to be tough to clean and I LOVE the grate that came with it. I also do not find this sink to be any more or less loud than my previous Kohler stainless sink. For what it's worth. Good sink. Looks great. But if you're not prepared for some serious time and work to install it AND you don't want to spend some time maintaining it by wiping it down and such- maybe look elsewhere.

Very disappointed

Having built a house in the past, we used all Kohler products for our kitchen and baths. Now we’ve moved to FL into an older home and are renovating it. We recently purchased this Kohler sink for our FL kitchen, knowing how much we like the quality. We are replacing a 20 year old Kohler ceramic 2 bowl sink with rounded edges. We hired a granite company to cut out the old sink and trim the granite opening to fit the new sink. Once installed, we peeled away the blue plastic protective cover and discovered scratches and dents! How could this be?? When I tried to return it on Amazon (completed the return process and received a response that I’d get an email with a return label within 2 hours), they don’t respond. This is the first time this has happened! I tried it again, still no response. What is going on??

Exactly what I wanted

I was tired of trying to juggle pots and pans around a double sink, so I removed my 11 year old Elkay double bowl stainless sink and replaced it with this one. What a great decision. This unit is 18g stainless steel, compared to my old 20g Elkay. I ordered the optional stainless steel rack custom fit to match the sink size to help avoid scratching. I'm repair capable, but not professional, and was surprised how easy it was for me and my semi-pro hired worker to install. It looks great, is quiet enough for my needs, and no more large pans sticking half out of the sink bowl at wash time. Kohler products are quality and affordable, although I do think that the price of this item is pushing the upper limit of its value. I matched the sink with a high end Kraus faucet and I could not be happier.

Damaged

I received my sink and all the corners of the sink are damaged and bent down into the outer side of the bowl. This is the SECOND attempt to get this sink from you. My first order disappeared! The sink is beautiful, I just wish I had not received it damaged

Love my new sink!

I purchased the sink as we decided to renovate the kitchen. We had a double basin that was porcelain. I wanted the single basin larger sink to be able to wash large items. We didn't need the double basin since we have a dishwasher. I love how deep the sink is and I am able to wash large dutch oven liners in it with no effort. It comes with a rack so you can set dirty dishes in there if need be. The only con and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it does take some extra effort and more water to rinse food down since it's so large. I have a sprayer and faucet that extends so that helps out. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Very nice looking

This sink is beautiful. I flush mounted it and it has the lowest rise above the counter of any sink I've ever owned. It's like it's just part of the counter. My only complaint is that it came with two scratches. One about an inch long on the rim and a scuff like abrasion in the basin. They weren't enough to make exchanging it worth the hassle. We wanted 18 gauge or thicker to reduce the noise of metal sink. It's not as quiet as I had hoped. However, we bought a tall faucet so water is falling a great distance. I definitely recommend this sink.

Lovely Sink

My husband and I love this sink. It's big, bold, lovely to look at and I adore the rack it comes with. The only thing I'm not liking as much about it is that things collect on the rather flat bottom of the sink and you have to lift the rack out to get a good rinse done. Things sort of just sit there even when you detach the head of your tap and swoosh water around. I'd still buy it in a heart beat, but my one piece of important feedback would be to make more of a grade in the sink for easier cleaning of the sink of any debris. It came quickly, the packaging was great and the film on the sink itself meant it was in mint condition. We had ordered an undermount sink first but later were told by our plumber to send it back and get a top mount sink. I was totally happy with the decision after seeing this guy installed.

The sink arrived in only two days to Canada, in perfect condition at a much lower price than we would pay in store. The whole process from end-to-end was perfect.
