Nice but wouldn't buy again.

These are pretty nice but I would not buy them again. First of all the picture is misleading, it only comes with enough brackets to make a single tier and even though it says any size 1" thickness is really your best bet for the size of the hinges and I don't really feel like a 1 inch board is going to stand the test of time in a garden bed, but we'll see. Because it is only one tier I don't think it is that great a value for the money, I feel like using a 2' board and just nailing them together would last as long as these hinges on a 1". Sure your corners will stay together but your boards are going to bow and need replacing so same thing either way.

Missing parts and pieces

Well I ordered two sets and when I went to install my raised bed, I opened one of the boxes and it was missing the screws, and 2 connector pieces and a stake. There were no instructions inside the box missing parts. Luckily after redesigning my bed I managed to install it will only the 6 parts I needed.

Proud to have purchased!

I had 2 side rail mattress slats each about 2”x 6”x 6’ I got out of the trash. Good wood. I used these raised bed gadgets 2 for each corner with some 3 1/2’ used boards for each end, & they are just what I wanted. I made a raised garden with most work hauling the 10 bags soil to back yard. Got started late, due to family emergencies, but the 2 tomato plants, 1 green pepper, 2 cucumber verticle plants, lettuce,mustard, collards, are wonderful. Chicken wire Fenced in from the rabbits. I am 71, crippled Left arm, so don't say you can't do a garden. These connecters are durable metal with years of service ahead. Glad I bought several boxes.

the brackets don't align easily or will have a gap at the hinge

I'm always looking for ways to make life easier, and was really hoping that these Bosmere N426 Rasied Bed Connection Kit would be just that. In theory, it should be simple: measure the board, cut the board, put on the brackets, drive the connector down the middle. Oh no...That's not this one. First, if you don't pick perfectly straight boards, the brackets don't align easily or will have a gap at the hinge. So, for me, I screwed the boards together with a 3" deck screw, then put the brackets on the inside (different than the picture) to hide them. That said, they are nicely coated for outdoor use, are all metal, and will probably last for many years. But, $25 for four brackets seems steep to me. Just my opinion, but these are okay, otherwise.

Great Option

These brackets are great for your standard beds. I bought 4 8 by 8 pieces of cedar and these brackets fit nicely. I gave them a 4 because I feel like only having and inch of metal free to hammer in isn't quite enough. Wish the poles were a bit longer. All in all.... A great purchase.

Kit works well and is very affordable

Easy to use although husband had to make some modifications--we had to put the connectors on the inside, rather than the outside, otherwise the boards did not fit. Other than that this works great and is a very economical way to build a raised bed.

Bad construction and lacks information!

These seem like a good product except: 1 - nowhere on the product does it tell you you need to use 1x6 2 - after getting wet they developed a lot of rust in the welds 3 - the screws supplied are cheap and break easily

Good for odd shaped beds

Worked well building my new raised beds. Good for odd shaped beds. Get deck screws instead of those supplied. Ordering more for new beds this coming season
