Easy to use

This kit was very easy and straightforward to use. Came with simple instructions and only took a minute or two to prepare. The texture of the finished product is a little weird - almost like a tough marshmallow. But it seems to hold the impression very well and is very lightweight.

Pretty good

While I received everything that was promised, I had to utilize my own supplies to make it a success. I laid out wax paper and I had to use my own rolling pin. The one provided was far too small. I also ended up using fun shaped cookie cutters because the provided circle mold was too large. A worthwhile purchase overall

Great as a stocking stuffer

I've purchased a few of these as stocking stuffers. It's a great little gift for the price point. Added bonus is that it comes with nice ribbon so that you can hang the final product. Everyone has said how easy it was to create the paw print and how special it is to have as a keepsake.

I’ve had a couple different kits like this and this one wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst. Had lots of clay!!! Enough I made 3 cat sized

Wonderful keepsake

We got this the last week our dog was with us. There was enough material for two ornaments so our older daughter could take one too.

Easy but meaningful gift

Please note, this does not dry hard as a rock. It dries like a soft cloud. It won't shatter, but if can be scratched/dented. The clay was easy to use and was very soft and malleable. I was able to re-roll out the clay when my pets panicked and ruined my first attempts. There was enough clay in the kit to make 2 rounds if I rolled them out a little thinner.

So easy

This was so much easier than the plaster molds I’ve done in the past and so much cleaner!

Worth it

Bought as my 12 year old cat had cancer and we knew we had little time left with her. I also bought an inkless print kit which wasn't working so well so I purchased this in a last minute panic and managed to get some good, although not perfect, prints. The circle cut out is quite big, we got both of our Fred's front paws printed and had enough to make one additional paw print for my daughter's bedroom. One thing I will say is to make sure your pet has clean feet! It only became apparent that Fred hadn't washed hers after we'd put them in the clay so our prints have bits of soil in them which we couldn't remove! Still cute, truly a print of her little toes.

Lovely memory keepsake

I used this kit for my lovely cat before he was put to sleep. It worked really well and was very easy to do, the hardest bit was to get my cat to comply as he didn’t like wet paws! It’s something I’ll treasure now he’s no longer with us.

Still hasn't become solid after almost 4 weeks

Like a lot of dogs mine isn't happy to have his feet popped in a bowl, or messed with at all really, so after a few unsuccessful attempts with my lad looking like he would nip me if I tried again, I popped the pre-rolled material back in its wrapper and into my dog walking bag and went for a walk. Once he has a ball outdoors I can do most anything with him, so out came the ball and I got the impression material out and popped his [unwetted] foot onto it and gave a little press. He then helped by standing up and trying to run with it stuck on his paw!!! Even with all that the impression isn't great, and it is quite dirty, but in a weird way that is true to my boy, he's never been one for being clean and neat :-) But even after nearly 4 weeks in the conservatory which gets very sunny and hot, and being turned regularly it is still quite pliable. I expected it to set hard. So far as it goes it's a keepsake of sorts, but I wouldn't buy again.

Took a solid month to dry out fully!

Ok first, like a lot of dogs mine hates her feet being touched or messed with in any way! So this took several attempts to get a good impression. The putty stuff itself has an extremely strong chemical odour, when it does say it doesn’t smell. So if you do choose this product, wash your dog’s feet immediately after. The smell didn’t exactly help my dog feel comfortable using the product! When left to dry, it says if you follow the instructions it can take 24-48hrs and you have to flip it over so it dries out on both sides. Ours took a solid month, and that’s in a hot and dry room, we flipped it every 24hrs but it took a month to become solid. After 24-48hrs, it’s still soft and can be damaged so easily! There aren’t many products on the market that cater to making prints with your pet so choices are limited. But I’d highly recommend looking a little longer and see if there are any items with a better list of reviews!

Soft material to mould into shape

The clay was soft and easy to manipulate in hand. I was able to get 4 paw prints. The roller was not wide enough to fit across the whole width of the clay so once i rolled it into a decent size circle I used the curved edges to cut all the way round. Make sure your dogs paw is absolutely spotlessly clean. It was great fun to do with my dog Benji, because i have dirt on my clay I will be painting the paw once clay is dried.
