Wish I read the reviews

I really wish I read the reviews before purchasing. The boat doesn’t snap together so falls apart almost instantly making my toddler extremely unhappy. Love the idea, but also thinking I just need to glue it together.

Not giftable, but a nice toy for your own kid.

As others have said, I wish the boat would snap together, but I was aware of that when I bought it. Coming apart makes it easier to clean and stacking the boat together in the tub adds some fun to it, our kiddo loves to build. We bought this set because it's in the book, "Goodnight Daniel". Our kid made the connection immediately, so the transition from bath time to story time is a little more exciting now. If you read the reviews and realize exactly what you're getting (a boat that doesn't snap together), I think it makes a fine toy for your own child. To buy this for somebody else's kids though, I don't think it makes a nice gift, because they'll think they got a broken boat. Not very giftable.

Toddler fits when the boat falls apart

I was very excited when I saw this set straight out of Daniel Tiger’s make believe world, but it’s had to be put away several times because my toddler fits when it falls apart almost immediately. The squirters and DT figure all take on water so will mold unless you can seal them. Would have been worth it if we could get through a round of sailing the soapy seas before a melt down.

Son loves it that what matters

5star but could given it a 4; nothing is wrong with this item exactly what I thought my only solo on fence complaint is that the boat's top, bottom and yellow attachment comes off way too easily, but I don't mind that mean it is super easy to dry and clean. So if you think that would be a deal breaker don't buy it. My son who is currently 20months absolutely loves playing with this toy in and out of the bathtub. Win! in my book. he literally hasn't stop playing with it since the day it came to our door.

Pretty good for price

The boat falls apart pretty easily. It isn’t hard to put together so not too big of a deal.

Decent.

I was a little disappointed by how easily the boat comes apart. My three year old is constantly asking me to put it back together for her. I also don’t love that the toys (Daniel and the sea creatures) are hollow and can collect water. They won’t last as long, since there is a good chance they’ll get moldy over time if I don’t ensure they’re completely drained every time.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 16 mo old who loves Daniel Tiger. I was hesitant to buy bc of a few bad reviews. I decided to take a chance bc I knew how happy she would be (what we do for our kids) Anyway, I’m happy with the purchase, even more than she is. The boat is good quality. Daniel is removable, the parts of the boat can come apart, the wheel spins, the boat floats, the octopus floats and the fish squirts. It’s cute. None of the paint has chipped off. I squeeze all the water out the squirt toy or I just don’t put it in the bath so that it doesn't get moldy.

This was a gift for my grandson, 3 years. He absolutely loves it in the tub.

Poor balance in the water

This product, when put together and in the water, does not have good balance. It falls apart quite easily. The different parts of the boat do not stay together well. In addition the weight of the Daniel Tiger figurine is much heavier in comparison to the boat, so even though there is a place for him to stand in the boat he is not at all stable in that spot and constantly tumbles out. I would not advise purchasing this item.

Fun and Safe!

This is a great toy for the bath! The paint hasn’t started to peel. Nothing has broken. Daniel is removable and can be played with as an action figure with the blow fish and the octopus. The steering wheel actually turns. This is a very fun toy and the pieces are big enough to not be choking hazards.

Would not buy again and age range mislabeled (3 years + on box)

The figures are good quality but the toys never really got his attention even though he likes Daniel tiger, but Daniel tiger is an okay chew toy in a pinch. The boat is awful, it falls apart and doesn’t stay together and doesn’t float, we put in his splash table outside because it’s useless. I didn’t return it, but wouldn’t buy again.

Over priced and cheaply made

The toy is super cheaply made. The boat came apart and never stayed back together. She used the toy once in her bath yesterday. There’s also no way to properly drain the squeeze toys. For the price I’ve seen better quality at the dollar store.
