Excellent fit and quality on first wear

I purchased these due to Baggy straight leg jeans are in style again and since I haven't worn jeans like this fit in decades, I wanted to try Dickies painter/carpenter style due to the utility pocket on the side and the look of the denim. I've always been a fan of Dickies wear for lifestyle fits. Fast shipment from Amazon got these pair in 3 days of ordering them! The fit is exactly what I expected and the over all feel was 10/10. Fit is true to size and since I'm in between size 33-34 in jeans I ordered the 34W30L which were perfect fit in the waist. My stats are: 5'9" 185lb I also received the tinted heritage denim in this version too. Same fit and style. Only cons I see are the front pockets aren't as deep and the material for the pockets are lighter than say "Levi's pockets"

In an age of skinny jeans, it's a relief to find some that are a little baggy.

Every brick and mortar store I go to there's nothing but skinny jeans. Even the ones marketed as relaxed from other brands fit a little too tight. My "boys" have to breathe. I grew up in the 90s and early 00s on baggy jeans and these jeans really bring me back to that time. They're not super baggy, but they're roomy and comfortable enough. They make me feel nostalgic.

Fit great

These pants take a beating. I specifically bought them to replace another 5 pairs of the same pants I've ruined over 2 years of every day wear and automotive work. That's grease, oil, corrosive chemicals, hundred wash cycles, cutting and grinding metal, cutting torches. Just about everything I go through, they go through. And they do it good enough. The Grey pants fit fine as do these, but the indigo blue style, the pockets are shorter which is fine.

Attractive and durable

Bought for my husband. These are the most attractive carpenter jeans I've ever found! Plenty of leg room yet not so baggy he can fit two more people in there with him. They are durable, usually lasting between 3-5 years being worn 2-3 times a week for work (finish carpentry) and are the only jeans I'll buy for him.

Order three pairs of jeans at the same time same order I got one of them the other two are still on their way where I have no idea but yes, these are nice jeans I like them and several pair. Just wish my other two pair would show up very soon.

Great fit for the money

I have worn these jeans for years and like the fit and quality. I like the side pockets as they can carry a small wallet and a cell phone. This helps with the sore back syndrome from a big wallet. Overall these jeans are comfortable and have good wear that make them practible for everyday wear.

Extremely Frustrating

I had 3 pairs of Dickie Carpenter Jeans in the past.....they always fit so nicely....perfect seat fitting and the fabric so soft.....this is my second pair I ordered in 2 weeks....I don't know if Amazon simply has the incorrect product code reference or Dickies has modified tailoring of the jeans....needless to say these are going back. Sadly disappointed.

perfect everyday jeans

I was looking for a pair of jeans that I can use on a daily basis. This serves the purpose. Love how affordable it is and comfortable. Definitely recommended.
