Holds ice very well but the drain leaks

It holds ice very well and stays cool, but when the drain is screwed shut, it leaks. It has leaked since the first time I used it, I even took it apart and put everything back together tight to see if that would help. It seems that the issue is that it didn’t come with a plastic ring in the lid to make it water tight. Any suggestions on how to get the part I need?

Just as good as my dads Yeti

Son bought won begging of summer for work. He kept in back of his truck doing concrete. Would keep ice almost an entire week. I bought a second one for family camping and fishing and it held ice as long as my dads Yeti. When he heard the price he was shocked. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered this for father's day, love it. Have a smaller version I use often, but same great thermal qualities in this one. In real world use, I pack it with ice and food stuff stays cold for 2 days no question. 3rd, you should add ice again if you want to be food safe. In and out all day without latching, beverages stay cool and you don't need to refresh the ice. It melts, but you won't run out/drinks won't be only cool or warm, will stay cold.

Don't buy this cooler!!

Do not buy this cooler! I've had mine for about a year and theT latches cracked and broke. Replacement latches can't be found anywhere and I mean ANYWHERE! I called Igloo Direct and they were useless all they wanted to do is try to sell me a new cooler. I have two yetis that are older and the latch is broke and I had The Replacements here within a day through Amazon. The igloo is a longer latch and if they are available somewhere I certainly can't find them in either can the rep at igloo.

Awesome cooler

I bought this for an upcoming camping trip so I have not officially used it yet. I did test it when it arrived. I filled it with ice and let it sit outside in the hot sun with daytime temperatures in the 90s. It took seven days for all the melt. The remaining water continued to stay cold to the touch for 2 mor days. I can't really comment on durability yet but it seems to be very durable. When I do use it on our trip I plan to mount it on the back of my truck camper.

Great cooler/Value

I researched a lot of coolers before making this purchase. It seemed like a good balance of cost, features and weight. Sure you can buy one that costs double and may keep ice a day longer but it probably weighs double this cooler too. I just took it on the first fishing trip. I packed it with enough food and beverages for 4 men and 20lbs of ice. It was easy enough for two men to carry, performed well and cleans up easily. Kept everything cold for a long day on the water in 90 degree FL heat. Very happy with this purchase.

Not bad but...

Cans won't line up in a perfect row. Depending on how much you have in the cooler ice will not last 3 days. I went for a camping trip and was out of ice by the 2nd night. Had 30 pounds of ice. It works and looks good but don't expect more than 3 1/2 days of coldness

Not durable can’t even be delivered without damage

Ordered this 3 times until it was out of stock. The first one never arrived it was sent back by the shipper as damaged. The second one the lid was cracked in the back right corner and the third was the same. The shipping box didn’t appear to be damaged. It looks like the screws that hold the halves of the lid together are over tightened causing the plastic to crack. Factory defect? Super disappointed this was my first choice for a large cooler as it had the dimensions I wanted.
