Be aware of the sizing...

I own several pairs of premium sunglasses that are constructed with titanium wire frames; as such, they are quite bendy and can compress inside a case without worry of damage. If you have rigid framed sunglasses and a normal human-sized head, I would posit that this particular case is NOT GOING TO WORK for you. Seriously, I am confident that 75% of all sunglasses being made today will not comfortably fit in this particular case. But, if you happen to own glasses with titanium frames like many Maui Jim styles, this case is AWESOME. It is very well constructed, with semi-rigid walls made of heavy denier nylon on the outside and lined in felt on the inside. I keep my glasses inside a microfiber bag still, which is then stuffed into the case, but the felt should be enough to protect the lenses on its own. I've used this case for about a year now with two different pairs of sunglasses, and it has not disappointed me in any way. It is highly effective, and very attractive.

Lasts Forever, You’ll Lose it Before it Wears Out

Incredibly durable. Easy to carry. Fits glasses and sunglasses of just about any size. I had it for about 5 years until I lost it. Was still in great condition.

Love this case!

This case is much sturdier than it looks. It's big enough inside to fit 2 pairs of glasses if you need to, yet small enough to fit into the pocket of my cargo pants if I don't feel like strapping it on my belt.

Pros and Cons of This Case (FITS OAKLEY MAINLINK SUNGLASSES)

So far I am a fan of this semi-rigid sunglasses/eyeglasses case sold by Hazard 4.Hazard 4 Mil-Pod Sunglasses Multi-Mount Case, Black Pros - Overall the case is very well made. The case itself is sturdy and semi-rigid, it would definitely withstand me sitting on it, dropping it or accidentally setting something heavy (<250 pounds) on it. The only time I could see this case failing is if something over 250 pounds was dropped or set on it or a car, or something of the likes ran it over. The stitching is well done and sturdy, as well as the belt attachment is securely fastened to the case. The button that holds down the belt attachment is sturdy and gives a crisp click when engaged. The case fits my OAKLEY MAINLINK SUNGLASSES perfectly with some more room to spare but is small enough to where the case isn't ridiculously big, its just the right size. Cons - The case is made in China but seems to be constructed well, wish it was American made though. Also, the carbine on the back is non-detachable. If you want that off you are going to have to cut it off, not a big deal for me as its kind of useful, but If you don't want it you will need to break it off. Aside from that, no further complaints. Will update if any others arise.

This is an excellent case and really fills a niche that's not otherwise covered in this product category. My daughter has a pair of prescription, Nike "athletics" glasses. They are designed with much longer temple arms than normal eyeglasses as they are designed to apply mild pressure well behind your ears, therefore better retaining the glasses during athletic activities. This was quite literally the only case I found on Amazon.com that would definitely accommodate her size of glasses when folded; including any of the brands advertising an XL or XXL version. The rigidity of this case is very good for it's price point too. Keep in mind, it's not a "hard case," per se, but rather a stiff soft case. I'm confident it can be crushed under strong pressure, however it's uncommon for glasses cases to be in those kinds of conditions. Sitting on it wouldn't crush it, for example. Well, for most people it wouldn't get crushed. The only irritating thing keeping it from being a 5* item is the unnecessary and unremovable hooks and straps. They can be neatly cutoff, however. Bottom line, very pleased with this product and was extremely happy to have found it.

I tried to return it, but I'm glad they made me keep it

When it first arrived, it was huge and I thought it would never work. It was stiff and smelled funny too. I tried to arrange a return, but even Amazon didn't want it back. Seriously, they told me to keep it and refunded my money and even apologized for my troubles. Well, I tossed it in a drawer and forgot about it for a few weeks. In the meantime I got never found anything that worked. As I was looking for something else, I opened the drawer and went AH HA! As it had sat in the drawer, it had become less stiff and lost that funky smell. I decided to try it again. It has become my go to sunglasses case. It goes everywhere, fits in most everything I carry. It's large enough to add a cleaning cloth as swell. The best part? If I need to clip it to the outside of my little "murse" I can do that as well. My only real complaint is the huge carabiner clip that you cannot remove. Other than that it is a very nice case for the money. and a perfect case since it was "free" As a P.S. I have tried repeatedly to get Amazon to let me pay for it i since I wound up using and liking it. No Soap. Thanks Amazon!

A great solution for traveling with sunglasses

I love Hazard 4. They make excellent stuff at a reasonable price. I typically travel with a their Plan B sling pack, and this was the perfect addition to keep my sunglasses handy and protected. It's basically the same size as a regular glasses case, but it's easy to attach to anything. I can either toss it in the bag with the rest of my stuff, or attach it to the MOLLE webbing, or clip it to something.

Holds up well

I bought this case because I'm forgetful and had a nasty habit of losing my glasses. I searched high and low for a case that had a sturdy carabiner. I ended up here and I'm glad I bought this case. It has held up well to the abuse of new parent life, and being able to clip my glasses/sunglasses on to a belt loop when my hands are full has meant never putting the case down in a stupid place. I haven't made much use of the web strap, but it seems like a handy feature and the snap is definitely sturdy.
