It's just decent, at best

I don't enjoy giving bad reviews, so I'll just stick to the facts. This costs less than local hardware store, and it was shipped to my door in 2 days; but it's not nearly the quality. The turnbuckle is aluminum and doesn't have much strength, but at least it won't rust. The corner connectors seem good in theory but in practice they are more nuisance than anything, I didn't use them. The cable is OK, it's basic steel twist cable; certainly nothing special with it. I didn't need anything great, I used this as additional high strength support between steel T-post gate post and next post over to counter gravity weight on new gate. Its not holding an exorbitant amount of tension weight so it's managing; plus since it's aluminum it won't rust, just oxidize. If you are needing something that'll just work decently then this can save you a few bucks, if you're needing quality and strength then I suggest keep looking.

"Built Hillman strong"? Not really

Unfortunately these aren't as strong as they need to be. The screw heads pop off and the washers strip easy. I need to find something stronger...

The anti-sag kit did the trick for my deck gates.

I'm surprised my local Lowe's did not carry this item, which meant I had to order it. The directions were not very helpful. I'm a do-it-yourselfer, so I figured it out.

Works great but my gate bowed

This works as designed, pulled my gate back up into place BUT the wooden gate bowed in the middle so it doesn't fit perfectly. Not a product failure just a poorly built wooden gate. To help with this I out some flat metal brackets in the corners which removed 75% of the bow but not all - now the gate works very well. I would suggest making sure your gate is sturdy diagonally opposite the way you install this item.

Easy peasy

This was very easy to use to pick up the slack off of my my fence door so it would fit right when you shut it and as a woman with tools and putting things together I was a little worried but it was very easy self-explanatory and a great product

Two people will be good for this job.

The product came with all of the needed items for installation. The 2 points that connect directly to the gate were easy to install using a cordless drill. I did not have anyone helping however, once I put it all together I saw that I was not going to have enough room to get the cables taught enough. When I have someone to assist me I will take the cable off and make them more taught so that the gate might be raised better.

Great “tool” works perfect for saggy gates

Easy to install and does extactly what u need it to do . Makes a saggy gate solid. Used on a porch gate about 36x36 porch opening gate . Little tip is to wrap the area where your going to cut the cable with electrical tape and few times around and then cut the cable so no frays.
