Gildan 80/20 cotton hoodies

Well, there not quite as thick or warm as older Gildan hoodies but one very important thing for me is the hood itself is rounded. You don’t have giant point sticking out when folded down, big plus.

Great material, too small

I got the S size, but it was too small. Good for a skinny teenager, ou skinny woman (size 10 would fit tightly) not a small adult.

Shrinks up a little over a half size (cold water, dried on low heat) but it is VERY warm and comfy.

As most stories go, it all started well until it wasn’t anymore. When I first received this hoodie it was GREAT!! Perfect for the winter chill in the mountains. I was a little nervous buying a hoodie without strings for the hood as I have a short haircut and like to have the hood tied for cold windy days walking the dogs. However there is the perfect amount of spandex in the hood that keeps it on fairly well even having an extra small head. After the very first wash, it shrunk up very badly. Another con is the way it rides up and due to the riding, it makes the weird looking bulge in the stomach/chest area. Carrying a concealed weapon (mostly in case a bear or mountain lion comes for me and the dogs on our walk) it is extremely inconvenient to have to keep pulling the hoodie down even when you’re just walking. I would however recommend this hoodie to a shorter female that would like a tighter fit and likes their sweatshirts to ride a little above the belt line. I’m not sure if getting a bigger size would help but I’m going to try a couple different brands before going back to a larger size. Will update if I find anything better to compare it too. I have tried the Hanes heavyweight 90/10 hoodie and it is TERRIBLE, beware. Feels like wearing a cardboard box even after washing multiple times (not to mention the short torso and extremely baggy arms) For reference, I am 5’ 7” 135lbs so torso length in anything really shouldn’t be much of an issue.

My son loves it!!!!

My son is 13 and 5' 6" and uses size Medium. He really liked it and is the second year buying this item to change sizes as he grows. He only stated that, is not a complaint, but he feels that the length of the sleeves is a bit longer than expected. He loves it.
