Item description does not match
Pay attention when ordering. The visual color and the word color do not match. I ordered black. It did not change to the visual color of the product. It showed pink but in the word description it showed black. When I received it, it was pink. I went back to see what happened. It’s the entire site. Green solid has a picture of a pink hoodie. When you click on it it comes up red. It’s the same for all of them. You won’t get the color you actually want. It’s too bad because I like the hoodie.

Hoodie X Large for 52 lb dog
I am using my husband’s account. My dog is 52 lb, I bought size XL. It fits really well. Some difficulty to get in his front paws, but it’s ok. I would say it is possible if your dog is tolerant. I like that there are no extras like buttons, zippers. I will add some elastic to fit on under belly for male parts. And, I wold not put in hot temperature drying cycle; I think light dry temperature will be just fine since it is 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Also, some strange discrepancies in colors of the item: I wanted blue so ordered blue; however, picture did show green. So, I ordered blue but received green; I decided it is some glitch on website; kind of ok, but still… Keep it since the hoodie itself is really good.

Good Fit on Large Dog but Definitely Requires Modification for Male
I read a lot of reviews before deciding to buy this in a Large for my fast-growing Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy (currently about 29 lbs and growing more than 1 lb per week). It was easy to put on him, good fit with room to grow. After reading the reviews, I knew when I take him outside, I should roll up the waist of it to make sure he doesn't get pee on it. Well, I forgot. When we got back in, I noticed a fair sized puddle on my tile and carpet. At first I thought my puppy hadn't fully gone outside. As I got down to clean it up, my puppy stood next to me and I saw drips coming from the belly of the shirt, and I knew it was pee in the shirt. ALL the pee had been contained in the shirt! As I went to remove the shirt to wash it, I got pee all over my hands. This shirt needs a feature to make the waist adjustable smaller, like a side snap or something. Besides that, it is very sporty looking and looks good on my dog. I just learned the hard way to remember to roll it up before taking him out, which I shouldn't have to do. UPDATE: I have updated from 3 to 4 stars, because now that my Ridgeback is full grown at 110 lbs, with a deep chest, this is the only reasonably priced hoodie/sweater I have found that will fit him. He wears the XXL now of course, and I'm getting ready to buy him a second one, so I can switch it out when one is in the wash.

Functional and warm.
I don't usually like to dress my guide dog unless it has a functional purpose, but having to wait outside for buses, trains, and having to walk in all sorts of New England weather, I felt that an extra layer of protection between my dog and the winter wind and weather might be a good investment. It isn't terribly thick, but she has fur for that added insulation, and the sweatshirt keeps the frigid winds from breaking against her body. I stuck my hand under the shirt, and it felt nice and roasty toasty in there. She is exactly 24 inches from the base of her neck to the base of her tail and 56 LBs, so I thought the XL would be perfect whereas the XXL would be too long and loose. It does fit her since she is a trim dog, but it actually measures 23 inches from the base of the hood to the end of the sweatshirt. Still, it is a good fit over all, she can move easily in it, it is not too snug or too baggy, and not so bulky that I cannot get her harness on over it. We weren't planning on using the hood, but I tugged it up to see how it fit. It is a bit small and crumples her ears awkwardly when she is standing, but it has a bit more room to work with when she is sitting. With a little bit of gentle stretching, this rests right at the base of her tail and will not impede her in any way. Oh, and I am sure she looks adorable in it too, but we get comments all the time: it is kind of hard to tell if it is because of the sweatshirt or just because she is naturally cute.

Nice hoodie for your doggie
It took a while for me to get this on my dog (legs first, then put the head though) but it does seem to help keep her warm on cold walks. She is getting older and has short hair, so I don't mind the looks (I would never subject my dog to wearing clothes for "fashion"). The hoodie is the most we can tolerate in terms of ridiculousness, because it is functional. That said, it would be better if this was tailored with a little more give in the waist. I bought an XL and it seems rather tight on my 60lb dog (the XXL is too long). The arms are very short on the XL, almost non-existent. The proportions of the hood and arms just do not seem right on the XL, but I still like it, and it is not super heavyweight so my dog seems comfortable. There is a small hole in the back near the neckline to attach a leash. Amazon should post the manufacturers sizing chart since that shows how to measure the dog for the best fit. Although it is getting warmer and I don't use this, I think it deserves another star (4) since it did work well and I think my dog actually liked wearing it when it was cold outside (she seemed OK with the process of putting it on after several outings with it). It did not look completely ridiculous either.

Fits a 18lbs male cat
I really wanted a black hoodie for my cat and a lot of cat sizes are too small. I have a 18lbs cat. He’s a big cat and he’s also fat. I checked the measurements and a dog medium seemed right. When I got it I was worried it wouldn’t fit but it did! It fit him a little weird but I’m not sure if it’s because he’s fat or because it’s for a dog. His chest kinda comes out and his arms look like they’re being pulled back. But the body fits fine.

Neck too small
I got this for my senior Shar Pei. She’s built like the original breed (so not super wrinkled). She got sick and lost a significant amount of weight so I wanted to keep her warm during re recoup over winter. She weighed about 55lbs and I ordered the XL. I like that it was fleece (same quality you get with any human hoodie) but the chest was too small so the space between the leg holes didn’t line up well for her build and the neck hole was too tight (by a couple inches). Unfortunately she couldn’t wear it. I would recommend buying at least 1-2 sizes bigger (I didn’t wash so I don’t know if it would shrink yet) & it’s probably better suited for a slimmer built dog Other then the fit, it seems to be well made and was good for the value.

Las tallas vienen reducidas
Ella es mestiza labrador con galgo. Sus medidas en pulgadas son: Cuello: 18” Torso: 27” Largo: 20” En teoría sería talla Large. Leyendo reseñas, muchas personas mencionan que las tallas vienen algo reducidas. Decidí adquirir la Extra-L que resultó ser la adecuada. Le queda ligeramente larga y algo holgada pero nada que le incomode. Son características que considero importantes porque la usa todo el día debido las temperaturas bajas y brisas frías de estos días. La calidad de la tela es buena y algo elástica para un mejor ajuste. Consideraría elegir una talla más grande a la resultante de las medidas de su mascota siempre y cuando sea para uso prolongado y sea hembra. De lo contrario un perro macho podría tener problemas al orinar y terminar bautizando la sudadera.

Soft perfect hoodie
We love these hoodies. Ordered pink size18 for my 44lb girl, fits her perfectly even though she's 20" long she's super skinny and I didn't want it to be baggy because she's very active running through the bush. My little guy wears the 10 in turquoise, he's 9lbs and fits perfectly. These are a medium to light weight jersey sweatshirt material and wash up amazingly! My only suggestion is, offer a male/female selection as I had to cut his shorter in the belly, which worked out just fine but a shame to have to alter the garment.

I was very excited! Initially...
I was very excited initially. Looked like a good product at a good price. However I can only give this 2 stars, as this is advertised as a 100% cotton hoodie. In reality it is 65% polyester and only 35% cotton. Normally this wouldn't be too bad but my dog is allergic to Polyester. So not only can I not use this but it could have also endangered my dog if I had put this on him without checking the label first. The actual product itself looks pretty good though and it looks like it would be warm enough, just sucks that I cant use it. Big let down. I've started the refund process...
