Super comfy dress for my post surgery recovery

I wanted a comfortable, cotton dress to wear for recovery from my knee replacement surgery. I wore it to the surgery center and it's almost perfect for comfort at home. Pockets would have made it perfect. My husband teases me and said it looks like a prison dress, and calls it my muu-muu. This is just because he's jealous of how comfortable I am. He admits this is true. It meets all my criteria: heavy, not clinging cotton, washes easily, it's long enough so I can move freely without sharing my bits, I didn't want to have to Spanx it, and it's the easiest thing to thrown on and wear around the house. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it in public, but that's not what I wanted from this dress. I wear shape-wear under dresses I wear out, and this isn't clingy so I feel comfortable around the house. I ordered the XXL and it's a little big. I'll order another in an XL.

I am 5'4 and this dress goes down to just above my ankles, which is what I wanted. Very comfy, love the color (Spanish Moss). Will buy again!

If you are short it will hit your shoe tops! Comfy

Just be aware! I am 5'5", got an XL and it's long! Good T-shirt material, wonderfully soft and the red/pink shade is nice. Try belting it up. Comfy.

Comfy for around the house wear, fabric is not see-through

I ordered this at least a size larger than my usual size because I could see that the cut is very straight up and down and I need extra room in the hip area. So I have a very loose/oversized top and the hip area is plenty roomy. I machine washed and dried it be trying it on and I was surprised to find that it did not seem to shrink in length much at all. This is very comfy for wearing around the house, especially when it is hot becaus the fabric is not at all clingy. I can't wear t as a sleep shirt because the cotton becomes a bit scratchy after wearing for a while - I don't even notice this in the day but it is very irritating at night and I had to get up and put on a pima cotton sleep shirt instead which is much silkier. The cooton is thicker than a typical tee and not at all see through. I would wear it out of the house if I belted it.

So Comfortable!

This dress is soooo comfortable. It is soft and drapes well and looks pretty good for a t-shirt type dress. I am 5'2" and it goes to just about 1 inch above my ankle. So it is pretty long. This is great for just hanging out and very casual, everyday type stuff. Would not work for anything dressy. If this had pockets, it would be perfect! I would recommend for sure.
