Best rulers for 3rd grade

These are so amazing and I was looking for this exact kind forever! I was so happy with them, I shared it on my 3rd grade Facebook page and so many teachers reported that they bought them and love them too! They are sturdy and colors don’t fade.

Great ruler for 3rd graders!

I love the quality and the fact that these rulers aren't broken into sixteenths of an inch. My only complaint is that they don't start with a zero on the end. Most rulers have a notch and start at zero because of eventual wear and tear. For younger learners starting on the edge was challenging because they would tend to "curl" the start of the straight line. Other than that, they are very durable and easy to read.

Great for the classroom

These are great for learning 1/4 inch measurements in the classroom. They aren pliable and could definitely be bent in half and become unusable, but that’s a classroom management issue. I used a thin sharpie to write the increments directly on the ruler for some students and it rubbed off after awhile, but easy to write again.

Does the trick for my artifact photography

I photograph artifact collections for historical societies. One staple item that's necessary to put in each frame is a centimeter scale, which gives the viewer a sense of how large is each artifact. I shopped for something like this product over a year ago and couldn't find anything manufactured, so I made one myself. Pain in the neck to do that and they were made of paper and foam board, so eventually they were worn out. These scales are printed on heavy plastic with a slight yield to bending. They are very durable and should last a very long time. The package includes 2 size scales, a quantity of each. Honestly, considering how durable these are, I'll only need one set for a while. If you're a teacher, having these scales in quantity makes a lot of sense. I doubt any vendor out in Amazon land would sell just one scale at a time because it's too inexpensive. Anyway, these professional and precise scales are a bargain at this price.

Just what I’ve been looking for!!!

Love this product. I teach 3rd grade and these are perfect to teach the kiddos have to measure 1/4,1/2, 3/4 and whole inches without all the other lines that confuse new learners.

Easy to read from a distance

Bought as a cheap alternative for tabletop war gaming when the cardboard ruler my game came with broke. Works great - easy for me and my opponent to read at a distance, and great that there's no excess, unmeasured portions on either end of the ruler.
