Buy It! It Works Great

I've been using this product for years until the webstore stopped selling it. It works great on my septic system. Haven't had a need for cleanup ever since I started using it probably over a decade ago.

The proof is in the ooze

Okay, I know that most folks don't find a photo of a full septic tank very appetizing. But you know what DOES? Green Pig. For various reasons we were not able to have our septic tank pumped for 14 years. What we were able to do was treat it regularly with Green Pig. In November 2022 we invited the septic guys over to do a pump and inspection. They were shocked that (1) the tank was still functioning just fine, and (2) that it had been doing so all this time. What you see in the photo is what they want to see: a nice slurry of digesting/digested materials, with liquid ready to flow out into the leach field. They said that there was a shallow layer of sludge on the bottom, but nothing to worry about and easy to dislodge as they pumped. Green Pig did its job. I asked the septic guys what kind of schedule we should be on in the future, and one of them said, "Two years," but then his partner said, "Or maybe three." As long as we keep flushing a packet every three months, I think we'll be fine.

Wow! Greenpig certainly works and works well.

I have been experiencing problems with my water treatment plant backing up, as the soak-away pipework has become blocked along its length over recent years. Frequent jet washing, rodding and using other bio products has returned little and all too brief success - the backing up/blockage problem kept returning. I tried Greenpig having read the reviews and noticed: less volume and cleaner liquor running into the soak-away pipe and a significant reduction in the smell coming from the tank area even on the hottest of days. Noting an earlier comment, I too was somewhat surprised just how small the package was that arrived with a years supply (4 small sachets) but they do pack a punch and have been amazed at what has happened since I placed one sachet in the treatment tank and one in the soak-away. In sum, I am extremely happy with the quick results from using Greenpig and would strongly recommend it is used to help restore a malfunctioning water treatment plant in my case as well as for year round preventative maintenance.

Definitely Works

I never heard of this stuff before but after having problems with the septic tank in our outhouse at the lake, my Vacum Truck driver suggested I try it. The problem we were having is the sludge at the bottom of our tank wasn't breaking down sufficiently to enable the vac truck to suck it out and it was building up over time to the point to the point where 1/3 of our tank would never be able to be emptied. You get 4 packets of powder which is supposed to equal 1 year of treatments (1 packet every 3 months) Because of the buildup in our tank we put in a single packet with water and then added a second packet after only a month. Three months later the sludge at the bottom of our tank had broken down so allowing the vac truck to suck it out leaving only a quarter of sludge remaining. We just started another treatment of GreenPig and by the next time out tank needs to be emptied we anticipate we'll be able to get down to the bottom of the tank once again. Each packet of GreenPig contains millions of active bacteria which helps speed up the breakdown and digestion of waste making it easier for the vac truck to suck it out. A second benefit of having a healthy septic tank is the lower odour from the efficient breakdown of waste. It's too early to tell if this GreenPig Formula will breakdown all the sediment left in our septic tank but it definitely works to help break it down. I will update my review in a few more months and let you know how it's going but so far we've been pleased with the results and will continue to use this treatment and see how it goes.

Worthless product and customer review not correct

As per advertisement and previous customer review product not working i have use 1 year supply within two week on bed time flush but my tiolet septic tank condition is same water overflow all customer review not geneuine Please Dont Buy this product Delivery process too late approx 30 day to 45 day
