Better than Muck Boots. Out of the Box Comfort. Orthodic friendly, water proof and light weight.

These are comfortable, water proof ankle boots with great tread. My key criteria for the shoes I was search for were: waterproof, comfortable, not heavy and could accommodate my orthodic shoe insert. Color and stylishness were secondary. These shoes met all of my criteria and were cute too. I tried many, many other brands of water proof boots like Muck and similarly priced, heavy duty work boots. I tried on many pairs and liked these best. The Muck boots and some of the other more expensive brand were just too heavy and bulky. Some were nearly 2 pounds per pair! I felt like I was dragging bricks around on each foot. If one wanted work boots for mucking out stalls and farm/ranch work then these boots may not be what you are looking for. However, these were substantially thick to last many years. Also, I could buy 2-3 pairs of these for the price of one pair of Muck Boots. The tread was much deeper than Mucks. I typically wear a size 12 (due to orthodox insert) but these size 11 were just fine in length. I suspect they are made somewhat longer/wider than typical expecting women to wear heavy socks. I have worn them for over 8 hours and they were still comfortable. Zero arch support so recommend inserts. These days hardly any shoe provide decent arch support. I do wish the toe box was a bit wider but it was sufficient to not give me any blisters or other problems. I also bought the knee-high style boots from Sak and really like them for the Pacific Northwest climate. With a long rain coat and those knee-high boots I can keep entirely dry while walking the dogs even through tall grassy fields. The ankle boots are great for street wear when a tall boot is not needed. I would highly recommend these as an alternative to the heavier weight/duty and much more expensive Muck Boots.

Best thing I've bought in a while!

I'm so glad I bought these little boots! I have been wanting a pair of rain boots for years and hadn't been able to bring myself to spend upwards of 60 bucks on the higher shaft fashion rain boots. These booties are perfect. They pull on and off quickly and easily, making them exactly what I needed for life on a muddy farm. They'd be equally great as street shoes. I wouldn't hike in them, as they don't have any arch support or cushioning, but that isn't what they are intended for anyway. The star reviews ask for warmth and stretch, neither of which is relevant. Rain boots aren't meant to be warm, nor do they stretch, though the elastic gusset stretches to make them easy to put on. Since rain tend to run a little big anyway--as these do--you can wear warm socks with them on a cold day. Once it's so cold you really need warmth you'll be switching to your snow boots anyway--at least, I did. These boots are durable and waterproof, as they should be, and the bright pattern offers some cheer to my day. Highly recommend.

Nice for walking dog and light gardening.

These were exactly as I expected. They fit well and are roomy. I will be able to wear socks in colder weather with them. I gave them 4 stars all around only because they are a little difficult to get on and off and I have only worn them a few times so I don't know how well they will hold up yet. I use them to walk the dog through a very muddy neighborhood that is under construction so it is a mess. These would not be good for creeks because of the low height but that's not what I wanted them for. I also plan to use them in the garden. Should work fine, assuming they don't fall apart. They seem sturdy enough so far.

These rain boots are very solid and soft at the same time. Good quality of material. It also comes with try them first and purchase if they fit. So 5 stars product

Just Wasn't Feelin 'em

I don't have much to say on these that hasn't already been mentioned by other reviewers. I'm a 6.5. I ordered the 7's. They were LARGE. Either I have a very small 6.5 foot (maybe?) or these are really wide. My suggestion if you are a half size would be to order on either end (order a 6 and a 7). Amazon doesn't like that bc then you will have to return one, but if you don't order 20 pairs it should be fine. These boots are colorful, lively, cheery designs for dreary rain days. I ordered rain boots from several different brands to compare. What I learned is: these fit very low around the ankle; more the height of a shoe mid-ankle. I learned that I wanted something a bit higher and I went with a half-boot from Capelli. Capelli also has a shorter boot that comes up above the ankle. I could see the inside of my foot getting wet with these so I returned for that and other reasons.

More wide choices!

I really take a wide shoe and I thought I would take a chance on the mdium. Tough getting into them. I am very disappointed that more sites, even Amazon, do not cater to those of us who need wide sizes in footwear. A podiatrist once commented that many of his patients suffer permanent damage to their feet due to forcing their feet into shoes not wide enough. So, please take the hint and try to secure some more footwear in wide range.

I was disappointed to see some glue along the stretchy fabric and ...

I typically take a ladies size 10 or 11, got the 10 in these and they fit well. They offer some room so that I could wear thicker socks if I wanted. I was disappointed to see some glue along the stretchy fabric and after using the pulls at the back just once, one of them began to detach. The height was a little shorter than I expected - they are just slightly higher than a fully closed shoe. The color is great; navy boots have been so hard to find! And for the times I've used them, they've seemed comfortable.

Soft and comfortable

Finally I got something I can wear for hours. I have bunions, so it is fairly challenging to find a pair of the footwear to be able to walk around for a couple of hours with my puppy. I received this pair yesterday, and today spent almost 2 hours, walking and running with the puppy - perfect! My feet are dry, my bunions don’t hurt, everything is just great. I will definitely recommend these boots to my friends and family.

Way cuter than plain rubber boots

These fit a little on the small side and are a little tricky to get on (start with your foot sideways and then turn as you slip into the boot), but once on are quite comfortable. Much easier to walk in compared to big clunky standard rubber boots. If you plan to wear thick socks definitely order a size up.
