Stays on when properly applied

I put this stuff on a pair of Marmot Scree pants that I had that I ended up burning on the muffler of my chainsaw 4 years ago. I carry this in my pack whenever I'm hiking or hunting. Make sure you round off all the corners and apply to both sides of the damage. I guess I should probably buy a new pair of pants?

The Perfect solution for backpack repair

I have a backpack I love but the strap was starting to fray. I looked for some solutions and was considering bringing the backpack to a tailor shot (I love the backpack). Then I found this tape, works perfect. I was able to tape the frayed area and after months it is still sticking. I am not delicate with my backpack by any means so I am impressed.

Sticky stuff!

I had a easy up that the mice decided to chew a hole in a few spots so I was looking for a quick easy solution to patch it up before a camping trip and this stuff works great. I patched my easy up at the beginning of the season and used all season rain, wind and sunshine it held all summer without issue. Its not the prettiest stuff nor is it easy to cut with scissors I recommend using a utility nice a good sharp one with a little silicon spray on the blade so it doesn't stick to the edge of the tape. There are so many uses for this stuff, I have some in the boat, i carry some in the kayak and camping gear I even carry some in the tool box of the utv I serious think you could use it as a temporary patch for an off road tire it would hold alot of air pressure however something like 3-5lbs I bet would work you could even patch kids pool toys so many uses. If your hear reading this then I recommend you get a role and give it a try for yourself.

Worked great to replace our patio chair straps

The decorative straps on our patio chairs were disintegrating so I replaced them with this Repair Tape. I know the Repair Tape is meant for repairing tents and other camping gear, but I am hopeful that it will stick to these metal chairs. The tape was very easy to apply and the adhesive seems excellent.

The media could not be loaded. Some other reviews mention trouble separating tape from backing. The paper splits easily, and the tape is anything but stiff (as well as very thin.) Normal methods don't seem to work well. Rather than using fingernail or thumbnail to separate the paper from the tape, I used the tip of a finger (or thumb) to separate the tape from the paper. Crappy vid above/ below, somewhere near here.

Great purchase!

Used this to patch my down jackets that have tiny holes from campfires and cigarettes. Has held up well to the Seattle rain and several washes with no fraying or peeling. Super easy to apply. I cut small patches to keep in my wallet for emergencies, and the backing has not peeled from them so far. Highly recommend for patching smooth nylon fabrics! Wish it came in navy/dark blue as this is a popular parka color, and the color of all three of my coats, but the black doesn't stand out very much.

Saved my backpack

I have a small blue backpack I have used for day hikes for years. Eventually, it developed a rip near the bottom. I decided to repair instead of replace since I really like the backpack and why be wasteful. I bought this tape after reading positive reviews. I will say that I think it’s great stuff! It is very sticky and worked to patch the hole perfectly, even blending in with the color of the pack. It’s strong and durable too. As a guy who likes up keep his things forever, I can say that this tape is a great ally for that cause!

Good option for down jacket

Caught my jacket whilst waking so needed a small repair, tape sticks really well and so far hast Gracie so happy with patch!

Good for some things

I can see that for repairing a tent/awning or similar this would be great but I used it for an area prone to small but reasonably constant changes in temperature and friction and the glue slipped after a few uses. So for a tent or something maybe more stars but also had minor problems removing from the backing too.

Four stars because it is not that adhesive as it was aspected. The product is waterproof itself but doesn't make the surface it is applied on waterproof.
