great product. needs to use string or floats into filter

Accurate and easy to read. But, you can not just let it float around pull or it ends up in the filter. Must tie to railing.

Great Pool Thermometer

I have had several different types of pool thermometers. All of them in the past were battery powered. Every one of them failed after replacing the batteries. In other words, they would last about a year. I have high hopes for this thermometer because it is solar. So far it has been excellent. I believe this one will last well beyond all of the other pool thermometers that are battery powered.

Easy to read

This thermometer seems to be working fantastic so far. It's got large easy to read numbers located on both sides. Even when it's traveling around the pool it is still easy to read. I waited a few weeks before reviewing to see if there were battery issues with the solar part. Nope, works great. We just opened our pool and purchased this to help with chemicals and when to plunge in. I would purchase again.

Well built and easy to read.

This floating thermometer has a nice solid feel to it. The dual displays make it easy to read at a distance and from multiple angles so you can leave it floating around in to pool. The readings agree with other equipment I have on my swimming pool so it seems accurate.

Takes a beating in Arizona sunshine

I like being able to read the pool temp without finding the thermometer and trying to read the “mercury” level. These only last a season in full Arizona sun and 110 degree summer days. You can change from Fahrenheit to Celsius if you prefer.

Accurate!

We have a new pool and I needed a thermometer to help calibrate the heating system - this one works great and keeps very accurate tabs on my pool/spa temp! Great product!

3 years in Oklahoma.

We’ve had this thing for 3 years of Oklahoma weather. It’s been hailed on, frozen in place for a week, and pelted with red sand daily. Still told me today my pool was 66 degrees.

Large diaplay

I love that I can read the display from a distance, I can see my pool from my sunroof window and I'm able to see the temperature, and decide if the weather here in canada has been warm enough to warrent a swim

Works as described.

The ONLY issue I have is that is measures the temperature in our pool at a depth of about 8 inches. I now realize I need to subtract about 3 degrees F to get the true pool temperature.

works which is great

It does its job but the plastic shield over the digital screen fogs up and you cannot see anything. also the angles make it hard to see when standing pool side. but it shows the temperature and that is what its intended to do.

Seems like decent quality materials. Accurate temperature readings and love that it is solar powered so I don't have to worry about batteries. Does the job it's meant to.

Easy-to-read pool thermometer

This looks like a good quality thermometer. We’ve only used it for a week so we can’t say if the battery life is great. Time will tell but so far we’re happy with our product.
