Sizes are inconsistent, but still good for me

I bought the 52cm orange and the 52cm black ball to sit on in hopes to alleviate my lower back pain. My husband inflated them using the included hand pump and was able to do it fairly easily. Neither ball inflated to the 52cm that was advertised. The orange is about 40cm, and mayyyybe I could pump a little more air up to about 42 or 43 but I’m not sure because it’s pretty full feeling already. The black one is maybe right at 50cm. Again it feels full and tight already, so I’m not sure if I want to try to pump more air into it but it’s possibly maybe I could get it to reach 52cm. Overall: I don’t need them to be 52cm for my purposes of just casually sitting on them sometimes, so that doesn’t really matter to me. My back feels good when I’m sitting on them because they force me to sit straight with good posture. I took a star away due to them being two completely different sizes as you can see in my photo. Each ball has “52cm” printed right on it, so I know I was sent the ‘correct’ sized balls, but they just didn’t inflate that much. The orange one wasn’t even close, topping out at about 40 or 41cm.

Inflation advice

Another cat punctured my ball story here. I was so Glad for the helpful reviews stating to inflate the ball, let it sit a few days then deflate. The second inflation made all the difference in fitting the Gaiam chair fully. Turned my initial disappointment of oh no this isn't going to work into complete satisfaction. I purchased the orange replacement ball and now keep a squirt bottle to ward of further clawings.

Pretty Good

It’s a pretty standard yoga ball! A tiny bit smaller than expected but it worked well for exercises. Unfortunately my ball obsessed dog got to it and but it pretty good so i’ll have to get a new one and make sure to keep it away from him!

Replcement item

I'm using this as a replacement ball for one that popped. It's the same brand and I use it in a yoga ball chair in my classroom. I really don't like the pump that is included. It's a hassle to work with. I use a different one. Follow the directions, even though they seem a bit odd and you'll be fine. The ball has to stretch before it reaches full size. Hopefully, this one lasts longer than the prior one.

Much smaller then expected

No guideline for replacement size

They don't help you figure out the correct replacement size for the yoga chair, so I got the wrong size. It seems they could help you get the correct size. The ball got punctured by my cat's claws and it will not stay inflated even with duct tape.

A solution to unfitting Gaiam ball replacement

After experiencing huge deception from being unable to find a replacement ball Under bad customer experience with undersized Gaiam ball....way much too small I have ordered this canadian brand and yess! It did work well The 55 inch ball order do fit my perfectly Forever ball is a very good quality and the best of all replacement trials I have done????

Not the correct size!

This review is not based on the product but on the product description. This is not the correct size for a replacement on an adult chair. We have 2 different styles of balance ball chairs and it is way too small for both. I believe this is a replacement for a kids chair. The description of this product needs to be corrected or the correct product should be shipped. I did not return it as it is a great size for my 7 year old daughter! The product itself is worth 5 stars - love the colour and the quality.
