Truly the best tape to prevent paint bleed I’ve ever used—with a caveat.

I was about to start a major kitchen project, which required that I protect adjoining surfaces from paint bleed. I researched, and every source recommended this Frog Tape as the best. So I bought it. Fortunately, though, I read its instructions—“do not use on wallpaper”. Since some of the area I needed to protect required taping on wallpaper, I resorted to some ubiquitous blue painter’s tape for them. But otherwise, I used the green Frog Tape, and it proved to be excellent. It was on for about 5 days, there was no bleeding, and it came off easily. Perfect!

Stayed In Place Outdoors And Was Easy to Remove!

I painted our inground pool and used this to mask the tile, light fixture and return jets. I put the tape up three days ahead of time and it stayed in place (it didn't rain). It was also easy to remove. I highly recommend it!

Will not peel paint

I run a preschool Kindergarten and we were told not to u.se staples in the wall. We have been using frog tape and it works great very seldom comes off the wall until we pull it. Does not leave a mark or peel the paint. I will be buying a lot more of this have 95 children in school and they all want their work showcased on the wall.

FROGTAPE is terrific for quilting - love the plastic container!

I use FROGTAPE when I’m doing crosshatch quilting. I use tape as a guide-line and sew along both sides of the tape so lines are straight and evenly spaced. Every once in a while the needle goes through the tape too but it does not gum-up the needle. Easy to remove, does not damage fabric or leave a residue on fabric. Empty container is perfect size to hold bobbin ring of multiple bobbins. Residential contractor husband also likes FROGTAPE for construction work and the plastic container keeps it clean in his tool box.

Excellent Adhesion, Sharp Lines!!

Much better and cheaper than blue scotch tape. Better adhesion. Used this to mask tire when painting rims. Worked very well and did not peel paint when removing.

You can't afford to buy cheap

A cheap tape will cause leakage from your paint, some adhesives do not come off or pull up either varnish or paint that it is on. Frog Tape is the only tape I'll buy. It was referred to me 5 years ago and once you use it you realize that you can't afford not to. My time is valuable and spending it on a tape that allows the paint to seep into the area I'm protecting isn't a good decision. Especially when we are talking less than a buck. Plus the packaging ensure that the adhesive doesn't dry up due to exposure on your work bench.

Tape not safe for some frogs

When I purchase a product designed with the needs of frogs in mind, I fully expect that I will receive a tape that can be used safely with most North American genus of frogs. Now I fear that we will need to amputate Little Zeppy (my spotted toad)’s hindquarters. :( 8 out of 10
