Thank god they make these.
So for months after breaking this little strike unit I had to keep a pile of laundry in front of the draw to keep it closed. On a whim I looked up the part to see if it can be replaced. Best money I spent all year as I can now finish my laundry and the draw will stay closed! Its a bit of a chaf replacing it, so if you don't have a gnarly set of tools, probably buy your able neighbor a six pack and have them do it.

Make sure your strike is broken before opening
Ordered this piece along with a new latch for the pedestal drawer of my Electrolux washer. Piece is genuine, but it looks like the latch breaks in most cases, not the strike. If you purchase both, inspect the strike on the drawer prior to opening because in most cases you only need the latch to repair.

Fixed the broken latch on my Electrolux under drawer.
The part was simple to replace and appears to be made of sturdier plastic.

This latch doesn’t hold with the strike at all. Problem may be low quality strike.
Doesn’t hold drawer closed.
