Does the job well

The only reason this isn't getting a 5 star is that it requires a second purchase to fix it to a 1/2" router chuck and while it says it can work with a 1/4", the material to make me confident that's the case isn't clear.

Dead flat

This bit it dead flat cutting and was only out by .001 in a 12in cut in a small area. Will buy again.

Cut like a dream!

This cut a very accurate groove and went through red oak like butter!

Excellent cut quality.

I have used this to cut the grooves for shaker style cabinets on a few thousand lineal feet of quarter sawn white oak and maple. It is still cutting clean and southerly with almost no tear out. As it dulls, I will certainly, be replacing it with another.

Splinter Free Cuts

Purchased this to cut slots for drawer box fabricating jig. Worked great! Even across grain on 1/2" Baltic birch plywood. Highly recommended

Typical Freud quality. Tried a cheaper 3 wing Asian import and well it was night and day difference. Spend a few dollars more and get the fourth wing.

Makes Good Slots

This slot cutter makes nice even 1/16" wide slots. The small diameter means that they can't be very deep. The maximum depth is clearly stated but you need to make sure it will meet your needs. I use this with the Freud arbor and mount it in a router attached to a router table.
