Fit was too small

We got the blue one as shown in the photo. I think we must have big mouths in my house. The fit was too small for my girl. It didnt cover the top teeth all the way. I tried it too, and it caused the gag reflex in me. I guess if you have a smaller mouth, maybe this would work. I think it would be better if this came with a carrying case to help keep it clean in between games. I guess you could use a zip plastic bag.

Franklin Sports Oral-Armor Just For Her Mouthguard

This mouth guard molded o.k. to fit my pie-hole. I did exactly as the included directions said to do to get the mouthguard to fit snuggly against my top teeth. It's not perfect, but it fits well enough, especially for the price. As of this review it costs $4.66. I can't help but wonder what it's actually made out of since I can't find anything on the packaging about that. It's made in China so I wouldn't want it in my mouth for long periods of time since I don't know what it's made out of. It doesn't contain Latex so those who are allergic to that shouldn't have a problem.

Fits my 8 year old.

I was hoping this would fit my 8 year old daughter and it does, I know the packaging says 11 and up but either this is made smaller or she has a large mouth for her age, I don't know but either way I was happy that it fit well. It is the standard way to fit mouth-guards by boiling and inserting it and then placing into cold water. It would be nice if this came with a case but that wasn't a big deal because I found one for a couple of bucks. She uses this in her jiu-jitsu and karate classes and it has been working well.

Needs a Case

Fortunately this can be boiled and trimmed to fit one's mouth. My mouth is unusually small and this was way too large. It does its job, but I do wish it came with a case. I also wish it was available in different sizes.

Holds its form once it's fitted

When I first worked on fitting this to my mouth, something about it made me gag and I had a hard time getting that reflex under control. But once I'd followed the instructions, heated the water, allowed it to soften in the hot water, cooled it momentarily, fitted it to my teeth, then did the final cooling, it didn't gag me anymore. I've had cheaper ones that were harder to make fit, so I like that about it. It fits. It works. The price isn't terrible.

I've been using this brand for years

This is the same brand as my current mouthguard (which is long overdue for a replacement). It molded well to my teeth and I expect it to last me a few years. I do wish it came with a case, but it's great for the price.
