Nice towel ring, but set screws provided were too long
This is a nice towel ring. My wife wanted one that was open on one end, and not the typical "full circle" ring. We also liked that you can mount it upside down so the open side can be on the left or right side. Granted, this means the set screw is now on the top when the opening is on the left, but I mount the ring high enough that neither my wife nor I can see the set screw when it's on top. The only problem I had was that the set screws provided were 1/8 inch too long (see photo). Franklin Brass should have included 3/8 inch long screws, but for some reason, 1/2 inch long screws were included in the package. I went to the Franklin Brass/Liberty Hardware website, entered a request for proper screws, waited a week, but never got a response. I then called their toll free customer support number, and the correct screws arrived by mail in a few days at no cost.

Love this hardware
When refreshing my bathroom with a coat of paint and new fixtures I found the Franklin Brass Voisin Towel Ring in Satin Nickel finish. Instructions for installation were easy to follow and within 10 minutes I had it installed securely on the wall. NOTE: The hex wrench included with this product tightens it into place. I chose to place the location for tightening at the top of the fixture, but you can flip it and have it downward facing to hide it too. I love the look of it; the style and finish, and I appreciate that the hook is somewhat stiff (not floppy) which means the towel can be kept off the wall. A huge improvement over the old, ugly oak towel bar that used to be in the same spot. Honestly, if I could give it more than 5-stars I would and I don't say that about 99.9% of the items I review. Don't hesitate to buy this one. It's great!

Beautiful and practical
I installed this in my kitchen because I had no logical place to hang a towel. The brushed nickel finish matches the rest of my kitchen hardware and the profile is unobtrusive. Seems well-made. I like the open ring because I’ve got it mounted up higher and the open ring makes it easier to get towels in and out. The mounting screws are VERY long. Because I was mounting the ring to the side of a cabinet, I did use shorter screws.
