This worked for the purpose intended. It was for my 5th grade granddaughter's school Wax Museum. The skirt (I would guess was about a ladies 0-3) fit great but the jacket (which I would guess was about a ladies 12-14) needed to be altered as it was too big. The hat was flimsy so I added a cardboard shell to make it more sturdy. It turned out good, but as I said had to be altered. I knew what I was getting as I had read previous reviews and had already anticipated the altering needed.

It worked for its purpose - a costume. Like other reviewers have said - the skirt is tight and the top is quite large. The hat is very flimsy, but I put cardboard in to make it stand up. For the price it's not a bad deal, but if you're a plus sized women or even an average American size - you may want to find another skirt.

First Lady costume a good deal

The costume is cute and a good value for the price. The skirt is stretchy but a little snug. Needs a slip or liner. The pill box hat is a little flimsy so it needs a little cardboard to keep its shape. I found pearls, gloves, white pumps and white purse at a thrift store to complete the look. Overall a good deal on a budget.

The top was a little larger around than was expected, and the skirt was a little tight. You'll have to wear a slip with the skirt because it's kind of see through. The hat is also flimsy but can easily be held up with a piece of posterboard paper. Worked perfectly for my skit!

Skirt way too small in contrast to the top

This was just as many reviews said. The skirt is WAY too small in contrast to the top. And the top is shaped sort of weird.... like a box shape. And the had is just a piece of material and needs to be supported with cardboard or something. I'm not sure why they would keep making it with the skirt so small and the top so big. Had to return.

One size fits all if you’re a 2 or under. Pillbox hat had zero structure- more like a flat cap. Top was very short about 2” above my waistline. I’m 5’4” ! Color was only accurate part. Returned it won’t use this seller again.

Loved everything about this costume

Loved everything about this costume, except the spandex skirt. I am a guy and needed to wear this to a dinner party and unfortunately all of my business was exposed. One friend saw me and quickly pointed out that I was not the first lady...
