"Do the wheels light up?" No but the scooter is great!

It was purchased as a gift for a growing child who is now 6 years old. This is their 2nd scooter. The first question was "Do the wheels light up?". If I asked them for a rating, it would be 1 out of 5! just because of that. The build quality is good. It was able to support a 100lb person without breaking a sweat. The adjustable handle is solid and locks in place tightly. The turning mechanism is also reasonably sturdy. The brake is also a good and solid performing mechanism.

So far shes loves it, very sturdy. Its also easy to install.

Good for little kids

This is good for little kids maybe around 5 - 8 years old. I don't think a child older or bigger than that would enjoy this as much. It doesn't seem like it would be able to handle a bigger child riding around on this. Overall this was easy to put together. Because it has 3 wheels, I feel like it's a crutch or training wheel for smaller kids and it can help them gain confidence.

For a little kid, great scooter...not really for older kids

I like that this scooter has two wheels in front to help stabilize the scooter for young riders. The build quality is ok for a small child. I think an older/larger/taller child will find using this scooter a bit challenging. Bars don't sit very high and I'm not sure it would be durable with more weight. For the money and for a smaller kid, nice value option.

Scooter

We got this scooter in teal and it is a very pretty color. Mine came with a piece that was broken, but a quick email to Radio Flyer and they sent me a replacement part immediately. My children are 5 and 6 and this fits them very well. They are still learning how to steer correctly, so right now they just use it on straight stretches. It was easy to put together (after receiving the broken piece) and with proper care I see this lasting a very long time.

Great scooter

My 5 year old son has been doing great on this scooter. It has 3 wheels, so he feels very steady on this scooter and it has definitely helped with his confidence in riding one. He finally put both feet on it, which he would never do with our 2 wheel scooter. It was easy to put together and feels very sturdy and durable.
