The black is staining the toes, one of the flip-flops was defective

I had a pair of ecco flip-flips for over 6 years and loved them, was trying to find a similar item. This one felt very comfortable in the beginning but after wearing them on a hot day outside I realize that they are staining my skin with black between the toes. Also the piece which goes between the toes is much shorter on the right foot so while the left one is good, the right (short one) after one day of wearing started to roll down thus making the wear very painful. Returning and looking for a different flip-flops :'(
