Big body little blades

This fan looks a little out of proportion. The body is rather large compared to the small round blades. It still is a good looking fan. Installation was tedious. There are so many parts. You have to cut the wires shorter for the fan to be flush which is expected but the ground wire is so thick it is almost impossible to cut unless you have fence snips. How many people have those? The light section alone had 5 separate pieces. This fan has been updated to a non replaceable led light from the previous halogen that reviewers had complained about. However, they didn’t update the instructions and we had to figure it out ourselves. Still gave this 5 stars because it looks nice and is quieter than any fan we’ve seen or bought.

A great looking fan brought down by a horrid lamp

I bought this because it is incredibly hard to find flush-fitting fans with lights to work in a house with 7' ceilings. This is in my office, which also happens to be a longer, narrower room, so I needed very short blades to not interfere with my bookcases. Installation was not the worst ever, but there was so much excess wire I had to trim it just to get the motor housing up. The LED light installation was even more a nightmare, as it requires feeding three small screws up through two pieces and into their holes, while holding everything in place against gravity's pull. Given that it was explained in an addendum to the instructions, I wonder why this was done at all, instead of what appears to have been an originally quite simple installation of loosen two screws, slide into place, tighten the two and put the third in after. But none of this is as disappointing as the complete lack of light that is shed by this lamp. I had previously had a trio of wall-mounted lights that pointed up at the ceiling from one end of the room, and bounced the light across; my logic in installing this was that a single, center mounted light would be much brighter, and I'd have more even light across the room. I do have more even light, that part is true, but its so little that I find myself needing a lamp for my desk to use in the evening, when I can't pull back my curtains and let in natural light. For now, though, this fan will stay mounted where it is; but I will say that as soon as I find a suitable replacement, I'll be swapping this out for something that actually lights up a room.

Great fan with a few caveats! Lowest profile I could find! Perfect in a small kitchen.

Very modern, Solid, Good looking fan! Other than the blades being kind of fat, round (having a cheap look on the painted blades, which isn't as noticeable once installed) and it using a specialty halogen bulb, this fan is great. Which is why it didn't get 5 stars. They do at least make an LED bulb that fits for about $8, but its not as bright. I understand why they made it with the small bulb, as a regular on would radar least an inch to the height.

move air well

The media could not be loaded. bought these on Amazon after I had no luck at any of my home-improvement stores. I am very glad I did. They are very quiet and move a ton of air. I had them professionally installed so I cannot speak to the ease of installation. electrician remarked that they were very quiet and moved a ton of air. I bought two. I should've bought three.

Great fan, but you need to know ONE THING!

This is a great looking fan and works perfect! For the small fan like this it produces a great air circulation too. ONE THING TO KNOW THOUGH!!! I got two of these fans for our hallway where the fans were installed on the 36" down rods. This fan requires a SMALLER - NON STANDARD width down rod (that's the only reason I gave FOUR STARTS)! I had to spent some time looking for it since none (i should say "most") of your local stores, such as: Lowes or Home Depot wont sell anything besides standard down rods. It's not a big deal if you read this review and you know what you are looking for :) I called the supplier/ manufacturer directly and they were able to order me two, the same brand as fans, down rods that look and work great now. I think this should be added in the amazon product description!

I was attracted to the blue glass in the photo. It’s not blue at all! I’m keeping it, but I’m a bit disappointed.

I've been very pleased with the air output and the appearance

Very fashionable for smaller rooms! It's very hard to find a short bladed fan for small rooms or rooms with angled ceilings. This one gave me an alternative to the plain, white blades. Either way, you always seem to have to order them online versus finding one in a Lowe's Home Depot. I've been very pleased with the air output and the appearance. Some reviewers have mentioned the light's brightness. So true! It's like your under surveillance when that thing lights up. I keep it off unless necessary. Other than that, it's a really cute fan in a nice bronze finish that's very fashionable.

No hassels DIY fan

Product arrived promptly. Product was shipped in the factory box. Well protected inside no damage noted. Follow the directions for installation and you will have no problems. I appreciated the hook on the fan mounting bracket to hold the fan while connecting the wires. that made it a one person job. I elected to install the fan as close to the ceiling as I could. The mount was strong and secure and was easy to install. The only complaint I could come up with is the 100 watt Halogen lamp. It makes good light but it also makes a lot of heat. Would like a way to put a LED light in its place. The fan is well made nothing cheap here. Almost no hum when running.
