Very nice ceramic pot w/comfortable handle.

This resin/ceramic coffee pot w/filter holder is made very well - the quality of the ceramic is excellent. A paper filter needs to be used (inside the ceramic filter holder) and it helps to wet it a little first (so it can adhere a bit to the holder before placing the ground coffee in it). Just pour hot water over the coffee grinds in the filter - be sure to saturate all of the ground coffee well. It may take a minute or so for all of the water to pass through the coffee grinds and into the pot; then remove the filter and filter holder, and the coffee is ready to pour and drink. None of these devices keep leftover coffee in the pot hot for very long - they're suitable for mostly a single pour (one 11 ounce cup or two 5.5 ounce cups).

Most of the way there

I like the heft and how well this holds heat if you pre-heat it with some boiling water. However as for the pour over cone, it seems to pour through slower with the ribs straight up and down rather than wrapped around the edge like you might see in a true v60. So adjust your pour over technic as necessary. The pour spout on the front is a bit short and has a tendency to drip after pour, but I'm not sure what alteration in this would fix that. At some point I'll probably need to modify the wooden ring to accept a v60 into it.

Permanent packaging?

It's a lovely pot, but unfortunately, the cardboard and plastic in packaged between the teak ring and the filter. We can't get it off and, though it still works, it mars the appearance. Would love tips for how to get it off or have a new unit sent.

Very nice but there is a but

I do like this little coffee pot. Perfect size for my 2 morning cups of coffee. The pot is very thick and if you warm the pot prior to brewing your coffee it does a nice job of keeping your coffee warm. But the opening for the coffee to drop through is too large. Even when I use extra care to very slowly trickle the hot water over the grinds, the weight just rips through the filter and you have a pot full of coffee grind. Luckily I have a stainless filter that fits perfectly.

Excelente tamaño y calidad

Está hermosa, de buen tamaño y calidad. Tal como viene en las imágenes del producto, usa filtros de papel que no vienen incluidos para que lo consideres. La verdad si vale la pena. Conserva bien el calor
