Not what I had hoped for to deal with plantar fascia

While this is a fine sock for some arch support, wicking, anti-fungal and is very comfortable - it is not working as I had hoped for plantar fascia. I've had very bad problems with plantar fascia and the dreaded 'first step in the morning' syndrome for years. I had found another product on Amazon called SOX which worked very well - although I still don't really understand how their support system at the top of the foot really works - I've reordered them many times since I haven't had to go back to the doctor even once since I made them my daily sock. When I saw this sock - I noticed that it has the support at the bottom of the foot - so I wanted to give it a try - thinking that it just makes more sense that support from below might even be better. Unfortunately, while the sock may be great for arch support and preventing the development of plantar fascia - after just one day using this sock I could barely walk the next morning. There seems to be something in the 'support from the top' with the SOX brand that solves my particular issues with plantar fascia. To be fair - they don't claim that it will solve plantar fascia issues - just help... but anyone who has had plantar fascia knows you will try just about anything that might help the problem. So, I'm glad I gave this one a try - but I suggest ordering one pair at first and seeing how it works for your situation. If you're looking for a great athletic sock with support - this is a good choice, but for serious plantar fascia relief, the SOX will remain my only choice (will will still try others just in case something better comes along).

Great idea, poor fit for size 9.5; Heel too short, socks slip down

I purchased these to play tennis in. My feet are size 9.5, and I have almost no arch. These socks are oddly shaped. The large size fit fine through the ball of the foot and into the arch, but they have way too much material around the heel. This means I'm either left with a bunch of material under the arch (no good), or I pull the heel way up, which causes a bunch of material on my Achilles (also no good). To remedy this I ordered a medium size, which fit well. However, the heel of the sock is a bit short, and they constantly slip down my heels, causing my shoes to rub against my Achilles. I do feel like the compression properties of the sock make a difference. They're definitely more supportive than ordinary socks, and my feet feel better after a few hours of tennis or running around. I just wish they fit better. Bottom line is that I really want to like this sock, but they don't fit very well.

As a sock, theses are fine. Not certain as to effective pain relief.

Nice sox wrong sizing guide.

Nice sox. Very comfortable but sox bigger expected. I got the size for a 11 shoe. Would have rated higher if it fit.

I ordered these socks and really not impressed given their cost. I don't feel they offer any real assistance anywhere (heel or ball) over a plain sock in my honest opinion. In addition, I agree with some other comments in that they are not properly designed to fit in the heel area, offering to much material to properly fit your heel. The design\stitching appears to favor the ball of the foot, and given the write-up for this sock that says "Plantar Fascia and Arch Support", I find this very misleading as there is not any compression\support in the heel or arch, which for someone with ""Plantar Fascia" really needs.
