Wonderful product but needs some adjustment

We LOVE Green sprouts, as kids hate sunscreen and we're not fans of putting chemicals on our children's skin, so we own many I Play (Green Sprouts) products, including hats, pants and shirts. My Favorite feature is that these are breathable (super important in the summer), very lightweight, kids enjoy wearing them and never complain. HOWEVER, the waist is very large / wide. It's not adjustable, and there is no simple way to fix it. I attempted even cutting a small hole in waistband and pulling the elastic out to tight a knot (super old fashioned way), but the elastic band is sewn right through, there is really no easy way to adjust it, unless you're a seamstress. My 2yo is right on track and wears 2T, I got 18-24 months in these, and length is good but waist is huge. So, unless you have a chubby kid, be prepared to do something about the waist (or maybe ordering size down and dealing with shorter length instead, "capri" length?). Other than this flaw, the product / brand is fantastic!

Perfect sun pants!

I absolutely love these for my 20 month old! They work well for her when playing outside or in the pool as she is very fair. My only complaint is that they don’t come in larger toddler sizes for next year. No

Nice lightweight pants

These are a great fabric - breathable for summer and great to keep bugs and sun away. Waistband was a bit too big for our toddler, so you may need to tack the waistband if your toddler is on thin side for age, but otherwise great.

Lightweight sun protection runs small

My 40in 37lb 3yo usually wears 4T but fits best in the 18-24mo size of these pants. They are pretty short but the 3T/4T was too big in the waist. Wish these had a drawstring because they're the only lightweight quick dry pants for toddlers I've found that we like.

Good lightweight pants for extra sub protection

My son is on a medication that makes him extra sensitive to sun exposure and these are great for keeping him covered while also staying cool. The sizing is odd since they group 3t/4t so they are a bit long, but can be rolled up.

Great pant

Loved these pants for my little girl. They are wide leg and fit a little large, but most upf clothing is not supposed to be tight. My daughter is under 1 so sunscreen often wipes off with crawling/ carrying her so this was a great alternative for our trip up to the mountains. UV index one day was 11 and no burns or red skin on her legs! Fabric is a little hot but better the. Sunburn!

Eh sizing

Read the reviews and went for the 18 to 24 month I was having a heck of a time trying to find pants for my daughter to go hiking in. She’s 3 1/2. Read the reviews and decide to size down and even then they were way too big for her so aside from having to safety pin them we just opted to skip them altogether unfortunately hubby had already ripped the tags off So I can’t return them. Definitely meant for wider children. Great idea but it’s not a one size fits all.
