A beautiful piece of art, but much smaller than dimensions listed
My intent for this root wood bowl was to use it as a fruit bowl on my kitchen counter, to replace my old one. Unfortunately, this thing is much, much smaller than the specs listed (I measured it when I first received it, and there was a huge discrepancy, both in height and width). I had the same problem with another Enrico bowl I purchased. When I doubt, err on the side of buying larger - my next step will likely be to order the "extra large" bowl. The bowl itself that I received is more like a flat platter, with smaller handles than shown in the picture. The handles are not symmetrical but rather offset from each other, adding to the unique appearance (much different than the picture). In fact, what I received looks completely different than what is pictured, in pretty much every way - shape, height, width, handle size. Would fit maybe 3 medium sized apples, and that's it. I actually liked the "platter" I received, instead of the bowl I expected, because I found another use for it. It is sitting on a plate stand in my library bookcase. It is a piece of art due to its unique and beautiful appearance, but I could not use it for the fruit bowl that I had planned to use it for. Just be aware that each bowl is different and you may get something much smaller than expected, and you may not even get a "bowl" at all.

The bowl itself would fit maybe 3 medium sized apples, and that's it. The bowl I happened to receive doesn't really look like a bowl at all, but more like an inverted non-symmetrical cowboy hat. Therefore, I actually liked the bowl itself due to its unique appearance, but I could not use it for the fruit bowl that I had planned to use it for. I found a place on the lower shelf of one of my end tables where it looks very nice. Just be aware that each bowl is different and you may get something much smaller than expected.

Wrong item sent
Ordered the Large Platter and got the "charger". I will keep it because I like it. Very lightweight and I'm worried it might not be very sturdy. I was looking for something to serve fresh bread on/with. EDIT: Did not keep it because I discovered a $10 price difference. Returned and didn't request the correct item because of the extreme lightweight of the item. Just worried it wouldn't be sturdy enough.

Beautiful bowl.
Perfect bowl for decorating. I bought the balls that are in the bowl from Amazon as well and they are perfect for my hall table. Would recommend this bowl.

I love everything about this platter! The color and size is perfect for what I wanted it for. I wish they made it in a larger size and I would buy that too! I am very happy with the price and quality of this platter.

Pretty nice bowl
Overall, this is a pretty and functional little bowl. Ours is much more round than the pictured bowl (no "square-ness" to the shape at all) and the handle cut-outs are smaller than expected. The wood inside the handle cut-outs is very rough - not sanded smooth - and does not seem to be coated with a finish of any sort. This is not a problem at our house, but could be good to know if you plan to use the bowl around moisture or will need to clean it often. The wood grain and tone are beautiful and it is a very unique and attractive piece.

its not what I ordered
its a nice wood platter BUT I ordered the wood grain and didn't receive wood grain I received a white wood platter instead , it wasn't worth effort of sending back but I am very disappointed as I really wanted the raw wood style for a rustic look and painted white wood doesn't give that vibe
