Stronger then expected.

My other socket would blow fuse when using some of my kitchen appliances. These hold the power and doesn't heat up or blow the circuit.

Tamper

Outlet is pretty solid. Easy to install. Like the idea of tamper resistant. Need to improve it though. Tough to insert different plugs. Have to force it in. Gives you the feeling its broken.

The tamper resistant nature of them make the first time you plug something in a little daunting, but they work.

Safety first

This outlet was very easy to install, I plan to slowly replace all my outlets with this type of tamper proof plugs. We have a couple of toddlers in the family and we all get together at our house so it’s good to know these outlets are safer than previous generation outlets. We have always taught our children to think safety first and this helps to provide us with more peace of mind, they are worth every penny.

More pewter than brushed nickel. Looks good but it is definitely too dark to be considered brushed nickel.

The product listing states cUL certification. However, no cUL mark found on device, only UL. This item is not certified for Canada and cannot be installed by certified electrician. See images ... the black item is what I bought, the white one is an existing outlet in my house. Note the missing "c" in front of the UL stamp on the black outlet.
