Bakes Perfectly Crusty Breaf

I haven’t used this for potatoes, but this pot bakes a great loaf of bread. I crumble up parchment paper (holds a bowl shape better) to sit between the bowl and the dough, so I’ve never had an issue with sticking. The bowl traps stream to create good oven spring, and then I remove the lid for the last part of baking. I love the way this bowl holds the dough so there’s no room for spreading out. It just bakes up. I am very careful as I remove the top part because the top and bottom handles match up. I need to make sure I have a firm grasp so I don’t drop and break it.

Very well made--love it!

This is a very well made Stoneware Casserole. It is large enough for a large chicken or a large beef roast. I use it for almost everything. It's very versatile and cleans up very well. Like I said above, I love it!

beatiful piece of everyday kitchenware

This is large enough for serving 12 people I alsi purchased the matching bowls,very beatiful set.I used it for a chili party.We have a large extended family and this will be useful.The color is a deep cobalt blue,I have other Emily Henry,they do not chip I wash by hand but you can put them in the dishwasher and the freezer.
