Outstanding Customer Service!
I purchased this air fryer a while ago. Literally used it once, moved and it ended up in storage and was forgotten about. Recently, I moved again and found it and went to use it and the extra layer that came with the unit was too large to fit in the basket; therefore the extra layer was unusable. I contacted Maxi Matic Customer Service and spoke with Vanessa who assisted me and then also put me in touch with Karina to get this issue resolved and get me the proper sized piece so I could fully utilize my air fryer. These ladies worked hard to solve my problem and because of them, I am a happy customer and will definitely continue to purchase Maxi Matic products in the future. THANK YOU, VANESSA AND KARINA!!!

Great Little Product but....
This is the perfect size and wattage to use in my RV. It was easy to use and clean and I really liked it. Then the clip on the back for the top broke off and it wouldn't stay up while I was loading it with food or taking the food out. I had to return it. I didn't have it long to have this happen. Return was pretty easy, just dropped it off at UPS and had my money back within 14 days or so...that does make it a bit inconvienent but nevertheless I got my funds back and now can purchase another one. Middle thumb, not great, not horrible, hopefully the next one works.

Sooo much better than a drawer air fryer!
Oh man! I LOVE this air fryer! I have only used it to make a few things so far, but I love that the top lifts up rather than pulling out a drawer! So much easier! And it came with a basket AND a platform that sits on top of a couple of hooks that are in the basket, so you can cook more than one thing at a time without mixing them together. I put fries in the basket and then with 10 min left I add & cook my “veggie burger on the platform and everything comes out perfectly! I am so glad I chose this model! You should totally get this! My only concern is when I turn it on the fan makes a lot of noise (rattles, like maybe the blades are loose or something.) but so far I’ve used it at least 5-6 times and everything has been awesome! Also, today I noticed the menu button, so I’m excited to figure out what other options there are for cooking things. Yaay!

God product, time saver, be ware the lid mechanism may stick
I love the product I returned the first product I ordered because the lid was hard to lower and then it just stopped working in that it was not able to stay up. The replacement is working fine. I wish the lid was easy to fit under cabinets and a little tough to keep the basket clean but definitely cleanable. I like that you can remove the parts to clean it. Live this product- life changing easy and would recommend. I even use it to toast bread and heat up breakfast meats. Bought 2 more and gave a Christmas gifts.

Great Food! Highly recommend!
I was hesitant to buy an air fryer because I have birds in my house and I only use bird safe appliances and cookware. I purchased this based off of a review on a bird forum that stated this product is safe to use in a bird household. I also checked with my veterinarian who agreed that it should be safe as long as you still take bird safe precautions. My birds are kept upstairs in their own room and not near the kitchen, but I still follow all safety precautions when it comes to having birds in a house. I have used this more times than I can count and it cooks food perfectly. It is easy to clean. I was not certain that I was getting “the best” air fryer on the market and only ordered due to the Stainless Steel Basket PFOA/PTFE Free features, but I highly recommend it. It makes great food! Of course, if your birds are housed in or near your kitchen, I would make sure to move them to a safe area before you use any type of cookware.

Stopped working after two days
I was quite excited to find this item that had a stainless steel basket. And the food seems to be crisper in my last two air fryer. Sadly the air fryer was much louder than my previous two air fryers. Even when you’re not using this air fryer there are some blinking blue light so don’t go away until you set the temperature when you’re cooking. I found a stainless steel basket almost impossible to clean, even though I used scouring powder with bleach and a steel mesh scrubber; perhaps the stainless steel is it of the highest quality because I never have any trouble cleaning my stainless steel Revereware. I did like this machine and the way it cooks but there were several problems and then finally after two days it stopped working completely and had no power even when plugged in. This is after I had used it several times so I really knew what I was doing

Locking Mech
I have used this 3 times, the first time worked very well - it cooks super fast, cleans nice. The third time, I pulled my food out and after dumping it, put the tray back into the device and pulled down the top to close it. It didn't want to close, seemed odd, I gave some more force and plastic bits were shooting all over! It appears there is a locking device on it? it was locked into the up position, I have no idea how. Even though the lock is now shattered, it seems to be just fine. Opens and closes normally now.

It’s kinda small for two people
So I haven’t had it for a long time and I probably haven’t used it more than fifteen times and now when I slide the door closed it seems to pop out about 1/4 of an inch which mean heat is escaping while I’m cooking . Other than that it seemed like a great product.

Buy at own risk! No warranty for Canadian?!?
I was using for about a month ish. like 2-3 times a week. then today i used it....it auto shut off....i thought maybe it too hot so i let it cool down for a whole day to the next day, I plugged back in and got no power, tried another outlet and still no power........Tried to look for the warranty but it only for USA.....what?!? what about us Canadian? There no warranty for this....... Now i got a broken airflyer....so sad.

Dusappointed
Have only tried it with fries so far, first try was awful, found out the only way to. Make home made fries is to parboil them first and toss in a little oil befor e using the air drier. The “stainless” steel basket is hard to get clean, goes a golden is hard colour with use of a little oil, necessary for decent fries! Not sure yet, but will probably send it back! Not worth the price.

Bad customer service
I used this once every two weeks. After six months, basket release button popped out. I emailed Maxi-matic customer support. Someone replied asking for my Amazon receipt and serial number. I provided the information but I never heard back from her. Emailed customer support again, she asked for a US address because they don't ship parts to Canada, I gave her an address in US but I never heard back from her. Called customer support, agent told me product is discontinued and she cannot help me. Warning: Please do not buy this brand. Quality is bad and customer support is non-existent.
