I’d say finding this bolt was about medium difficulty. Not for the novice bolt finder.

I would say that the title is somewhat misleading. It took me about 10 minutes to find this bolt. I’m still yet to find the “impossible to find” bolts I purchased a few weeks ago. I’d say this bolt should be retitled “inconvenient to find” bolt. I was expecting more of a challenge with the title.

Hard to find inconsistently

Would be 5 stars since I couldn’t find it upon opening the package, that might have been due to all the Chinese writing that caught my eye, but later my wife found it, and then it was hard to find. Then my dog found it easily, but again was hard to find after it was handed over. I’m not sure if it’s just me or the select time that one searches depending on the lunar calendar or earths axis, but inconsistent at best in being hard to find. 3 stars because it is currently lost and hard to find, but I’m in waiting for a solstice.

Not that elusive

This really isn't an elusive fastener, it's available at the homeless depots, it's a plow cutting edge bolt.

Description misleading

I wasn’t even looking for this fastener, but found it anyway. The mfg needs to rethink the discoverability. Disappointed.

Where did it go?

I bought this product and had some trouble locating it in the package. After what seemed like hours of plundering through the envelope, finally I discovered it recessed in the corner of the bag. I set the new shiny fastener on the table, and turned to dispose of the packaging. Upon return to the table, once again, the fasteners location completely eluded me. For weeks the fastener went unfound. Days came and went, and yet the fastener was not seen by any who looked. A week ago my girlfriend found the elusive fastener on the table near where I had left it. It was covered in dust, which had formed a kind of natural camouflage reminicent of a ghillie suit. She quickly washed the relic and put in a glass container, sure it could be kept track of in such an obvious and secure location. That was three days ago, and once again, the screw is lost. I forewarn you this item is as described. It's as if the bolt is cursed, or enchanted to evade. If you purchace it keep it close, and dont ever put it down!

Worked perfectly

I dropped this on the floor and it completely disappeared. I'm not talking normal dropped a bolt disappeared, this thing was gone on my garage floor. It got me so frustrated! That's exactly the experience I was looking for! After hours of searching I finally found it. It was difficult, possibly the hardest to find fastener I've ever had to look for in my garage. I know my workshop is disorganized, but wow this thing will take it to a whole new level. If you're looking for a fastener that you just can't find this is your bolt.
