Beware off-color!

These are *not* "blackout" curtains. They are "darkening". But look closely at the pictures: the background color is NOT WHITE. It is a light grey. As another reviewer pointed out, there are black threads woven into the fabric to block light which give the "white" curtains a noticeable grey cast. I think they look a bit dingy, but I'm keeping them as they are cheap. They definitely feel like polyester but don't looks as cheap as they are. I needed something to reduce light and drafts, and to give privacy to the lower part of my double hung windows...so I'm cutting each panel in half horizontally, hemming them so each curtain panel makes two half panels. Then using tension rods and ring clips to install in the windows. So, for $2.50 a half curtain, I will keep them. Eclipse makes MANY different curtains, which are hard to track down on Amazon. I found a solid tan panel for $5, it just took a little searching.

Pretty, light but not Darkening

So I got my package today. First thing I noticed was that it IS NOT a pair it a single panel. Inspite of telling someone in the questions that the package carried two. So that was an unfortunate realization. That being said here are the negatives and positives Negative - Single panel not pair - Limited to only 4 panels max to purchase, - Don't block light but do give you privacy. Positive. - inexpensive - sturdy fabric - nice design So that's it for me in a nutshell. Good luck ????

Good color options

I chose this for the color combinations and thermal properties. Not quite as room darkening as others- they are not blackout. Helps keeps sun out like a heavy filter. Panels are narrow but hang well and add beauty to the room.

Bonitas y duraderas

No son 100% blackout pero sí bloquean algo de luz para dormir cómodamente. La tela es suave (sin recubrimiento plástico en la parte trasera) y tiene una caída bonita. Ampliamente recomendadas.
