Easy fix for an older rod

The pack of three tips, with what amounts to hot glue, was a good solution for me, and it was very reasonably priced. I had read the reviews about size and double checked to see if one of these would fit my rod, a 10 or 11 foot surfing rod. The largest tip fit well. It shouldn't be too hard to check the end of your rod to see what it's diameter is. You should be sure the tip you want to use is larger. Installing the tip was easy, and there was nothing tricky about it.

Fixed a favorite pole

Broke the tip off of a favorite pole and didn't want to throw it away so I bought this kit. Instead of using the glue that was included I used superglue gel. It sets quick but gives you enough time to make sure everything is lined up. You could use the glue stick included but this seemed like the easier option. I used the rod last weekend and it worked fine. It's a little stiffer than it was but losing about 4 inches that is to be expected. I have 2 tips left but hopefully I won't have to use them.

Easy install and saved a rod from the trash

Alot less then buying a new rod. Heat epoxy much nicer than the old days of lashing with line and then glue.

Extra Fishing Rod Ready for Action

Bought a single one at Canadian Tire but tip was too small. Purchased this package with glue included and middle size fit. Shipping was a tad bit slow but happy with my purchase. My extra rod with heavier line ready for action.

Nice kit for simple repair.

Used one tip for the winter on my ice fishing rod. Held up good in cold temps and getting banged around in a slay. Would buy again if I ever need a new tip.
