Works fine.
I use it to catch turkey deep fryer oil as it comes through a conical filter. Works well. Nice wide mouth. No spilling. Thick tough material.

Great Funnel
Great funnel! It was hard to find a funnel this big and it works great. Solid and at a good price.

Stem too wide to fit into carboy
This negative review is solely directed at the product, NOT at Home Brew Ohio. I'm sure they are a fine business, but this funnel is rubbish for home brewers. The snap-in screen is worthless if you boil pellet hops directly in the wort and then dump cooled wort from the brew pot into the funnel to the carboy. It is too fine a screen to let the liquid drain properly around the hops. You need to fill the cone, then stir the liquid to loosen the hops, and even then it takes forever, no matter what the gravity of your wort. But that's not the worst part... The top is nice and wide, but the stem is too broad to fit properly into ANY carboy typically used for homebrewing, from the ones that take 6.5 stoppers to the ones that take 7.5 stoppers. You must twist it into the carboy opening, which seals it and thus takes forever to drain with no air able to escape around the sides, with or without the screen in place. And even then, the rush or weight of the wort loosens it enough that it may fall out and spill. I don't know who cuts the stems, as they look sloppily cut rather than molded, but they cut them too high up the stem making the exit too wide--I've seen this on the same funnel in other homebrew shops and was told that they come that way, so I don't believe this is the fault of Home Brew Ohio.
