Good basic ear protection.

Great Product

Being a day sleeper these ear plugs, after trying other brands, are perfect to drown noises (I sleep through the construction going on next door wearing them) while still being able to hear the phone ring. They last longer than other brands. I tie a knot on one side to distinguish right from left ear so each plug gives a better fit. After a month I'm still wearing my first pair. I'll definitely buy again!

Buy a copy of excellent ear protection at a reasonable price

These are reasonably priced ear protection. I use them for target shooting but they could be used for a number of functions.

I recently had a superior semicircular canal dehiscence repaired, and my hearing is very sensitive. I've also got permanent "loud noise hearing loss," and get migraines from high-pitched sounds, vibrations, and changes in humidity, so having a pair of quality ear plugs close at hand at all times of the day has become very important. These plugs fit my ear canal very well and stay put. The cord is good, because sometimes I will plug only one ear at the movies, and intermittently plug the other ear when the action scene sound effects ramp up. Without the cord, it's a pain to keep track of where the second ear plug is. I use them while working on the sewing machine and riding the subway as well. The one time I bought the less expensive drugstore brand, the yellow conical plugs were not big enough to form a seal. It makes a difference to have a plug with a triangular shape. These plugs come with a good clear plastic case for each set, so the cord doesn't get tangled up.

Best ear protection I’ve found.

I wear these many times per week at the skeet field. They are the softest on the ear canal of any brand, you can move them in or out and change the hearing protection based on the number of fins that are in the canal. You can pull them out of the canal between shoots and they will not fall out of your ears.

They get the job done

The ear buds do a good job of blocking out noise. They fit okay but tend to fall out of my ears about 40% of the time when I'm outdoors. They are pretty soft but tend to be a little rough around the edges (I have pretty small ear canals). Otherwise they do the job.

I have tried several ear plugs and I believe these do block the sound the best. I realize they are for short term use; hard plastic like material that can be somewhat irritating if worn for longer periods. That being said I bought them to use while on vacation to block my spouses' snoring at night. They worked allowing me to sleep. At home she uses an air machine for sleep apnea which is very quiet; and she doesn't snore. I did find that cutting off the out of ear end tips where the cord is connected to both ear plugs makes them much easier to use while sleeping on a pillow. They may not be ideal for my use but they worked.

Perfect ear plugs

These are the best ear plugs my husband has ever used. He says that they do a better job of canceling out noise than the noise deadening ear muffs. They fit tightly in the ear canal but without causing pain.

Good for construction or equipment operation, but unsuitable for sleeping

They cancel lots of noise, but the cheap molds used for the formation of the plastic leave little bits of plastic that are extremely uncomfortable on the inside of your ear. If trying to sleep, it can be extremely distracting to have pain in your ears like this. Stick to higher quality plugs for sleeping. These are excellent for work purposes.

High Quality Earplugs

These are excellent earplugs and do a great job of blocking out almost all sound and noise. The silicone is rigid and keeps its shape well over multiple uses. I find they can hurt if I wear them for more than a few hours at a time, however, such as when sleeping.
