A nice 3-piece set that helps celebrate the Fall Thanksgiving season.

This review is for the DII Kitchen Textile Collection Fall Gift Set, Dishtowel & Potholder, Gobble Turkey 3 Count. This is both a decorative and functional potholder & dishtowel set, in multi-tone brown/green/harvest gold Fall colors. The potholder has a nice tail feathers accenting 9.5” wide octagon shape, with a hanger. It is made of thick heat resistant quilted fabric for holding hot handles and dishes. It does have a hand slot on the back to help keep the potholder securely on the hand, but it is a bit shallower than other potholders at 6”. The dishtowels are also a nice Fall colors gingham check, made of the same fabric as the gingham check feathers on the turkey to match. The dishtowels are large at around 28” long and 18” wide, perfect for covering a rectangle casserole dish or a large basket of freshly baked bread to keep them warm and moist. The back corner of the towels also have a hanger as well for placing on a hook, or given the generous length of the towel, you can also easily loop it over something like an oven door handle. For storage between the seasons, the dishtowels fold and fit nicely into the back pocket of the potholder. It is a nice 3-piece set that helps celebrate the Fall Thanksgiving season.

Darling pot holder--but unwieldy

This set is a blend of "for show" and "for use". The set is somewhat practical, yet whimsical--and nice for, and worthy of, the Thanksgiving Holiday. The turkey pot holder is cute as can be. But it is somewhat cumbersome to use over the hand, as the opening of the pocket on the back is wide. It is stiff, too. My hand slips around in the pocket too easily for me to consider it safe to pick up a hot pan or pot with it. Perfect, though, to set a hot pot on. The dish towels are not the largest, but they do wash decently. Touch-up with an iron is necessary to deal with curling hems if you are particular. (Or if you want to present them--immediately usable--as a hostess gift on Thanksgiving Day,) Towels are absorbent enough--usable, not highly absorbent, but they do absorb. They have a cotton tape sewn into one corner for hanging on a hook. The set comes in a plastic bag--not giftable that way.... The towels tuck into the pocket of the turkey pot holder--very cute.

Seasonal and festive

This 3 piece kitchen set would make a great Thanksgiving hostess gift. I’m using mine in my own kitchen and am pleased with both the towels and the turkey potholder. The towels are a good useful size, and are absorbent without getting soaked. The potholder is cute but on the light side, so I use it for stovetop rather than oven use. Overall quality is good, however, and I wouldn’t hesitate to order a set as a gift.

A really cute, festive set!

With Thanksgiving often getting overlooked and decor skipping right to Christmas- I love this adorable set! I think its important to go in with the expectation that the dish towels are more decorative than functional, they aren't going to absorb any liquid for you, but they are nicely made and look nice in the kitchen!

Super cute and festive autumn dish towels! Potholder is definitely more “Thanksgiving ,” but then dish towels will work the entire season. Not the most absorbing towels but hopefully with time they will get better after washing repeatedly. I definitely like these kinds of dish towels to display because they don’t warp when you wash them!
