Overpriced For The Quality

This is my third review and Amazon keeps sending me messages saying they won’t post it. I posted reviews with videos to show it sliding on my tile. No idea why they wouldn’t post. At first the mat had a big hump in the middle. I laid heavy objects on it and now it’s flat. I have it where all my boys come in through the garage. You would think the bottom would be a material that would not slip around like a heavier rubber. It just moves around too much as if it were plastic but it does the job of tracking dirt I guess. Too high priced in my opinion.

High quality rug at a great price

I love this rug. I have an 18 week old puppy who loves being outdoors and a new construction home with 99% mud and 1% grass. We also have new hardwood laminate flooring that constantly has dirty little puppy paws running across it. My husband bought a generic rug from Walmart to put at the back door but it did not clean her paws off before she hit the floor. The rug also constantly slid around on the floor. Being that the doors to the back yard are double french doors, I made the statement that I needed a runner rug. This one had the most and best reviews, and several other reviewers also used this rug--both indoors and out--for dog paws. I placed the rug indoors because the back deck is open to the elements and does not have an overhang with which to keep the rug clean-ish and dry. I put it inside and I can already tell the difference. It does not slide around the floor, even with my kids running over it and playing on it with the puppy. The rubber backing is good, thick quality and I am confident it will also protect the flooring beneath the rug despite what she brings in on her paws. When I stood on the rug in my bare feet when letting the dog outside, I was surprised at how thick and sturdy the fabric is, as well as how deep the ridges are that will undoubtedly capture a ton of dirt and mud off puppy paws. I have the rug set off-center from the back door so she runs in on one side and has to run the entire length before she hits the floor. This has already decreased the amount of dirt and paw prints on the floor in the first hour that I have laid it down. Despite the fact that it came in the mail rolled up tightly, it laid out flat and has not rolled up in the least. This is definitely a high quality rug at a great value price. I will most likely purchase another one of these for my utility room to catch the mess the humans track in on their shoes. Recommended!

Perfect

Had to replace an old (ancient) runner on the patio which served to clean (not very well any longer) dog paws before entering the house. Since it is an outside item, did not want to spend a fortune. This item looked promising. WORKS!!!! Looks great, dogs have no choice but to walk the "paw cleaning carpet". Lays flat, does not curl, actually does not move, slide or slip on the concrete patio. Let's face it, there are still some muddy paw prints on the tile, but not like before, much better. Price is right, solves the problem, looks good doing it. Perfect! So far, wind, snow, sun and rain have not discolored the runner or caused it to loose its ability to "paw clean", no signs of disintegration or coming apart. Will report back after about 6 months of exposure to the elements. 03/22/2015 - Well, after a winter of ice (up to 1" which had to be scrapped off), snow, and yeech this product does not look any different than the day I received the mat and unrolled it. Weathers wonderfully, there has been no rolling, no disintegration, no loss of the "fuzzy" stuff (have no idea what to call the "fuzzy" ribbing) after using the snow shovel to scrap off the deep coating of ice, and the color has held true to the same color it was the day it went into use. Very pleased with this purchase. 02/15/2016 - This mat is the Timex of rubber mats, you remember the old commercial, takes lickin' and keeps on tickin', this mat typifies that standard. This winter so far has been the most abusive yet. I have doused the mat with ice melt (old dog, can not take the ice, 3 legged and not to stable anymore on the single hind leg). I still looks great, no loss of "fuzzy" stuff. Still cleans dog paws and muddy human boots like a champ.

Great quality

Great quality and the corners stays flat! It fits perfectly on the top platform of my stairs and stays put even with all the traffic going in and out from our family of 5, 2 dogs, and visitors! Easy to clean, a quick sweep or shake it out and you’re good to go!

Love it, much better than the very thing thing it is replacing

I had a much simpler, thinner runner in my mud room by my washer and dryer. It worked well, but one corner started being curled upwards, and catching under feet. I wanted something a little heavier this time to replace it. This was the best I could find as far as size went - long enough to be useful, wide enough to almost cover what I needed. I would've preferred a little longer and a few inches wider to be like the one it replaced, but that's not an option, not just for this, but for most of them that I looked at. It's well constructed. The rubber on the edges is angled, and this is thicker, so you get a feeling of some cushioning under your feet. It's instantly noticeable if you've been using just a thin thing like I had. Even my 11 year old right away noticed the change when he came home after I put it out, even though the light was off in the laundry area there. He could tell just from the feel. For this price, it's definitely worth every penny.

The exact size I needed for a mat that transitioned from tile to carpeted floor.

I bought this mat since it was a perfect size that would cover a 60 inch width for a transition from a tile to a carpeted floor. It stays in place, easy to vacuum and looks good!

Exactly what I was looking for for outdoor rug

It is like the rugs you see in businesses that have tile floors and have to have something to keep people from slipping on wet tile if coming in from outdoors and it’s been raining

The exact size of mat I needed!

My old mat was falling apart. I bought it not to long ago and it already broke on me. This mat is much more superior to the last one and it's the same size. The quality is much better in terms of the rubber backing and edges. The carpet material is the same as the last one but feels like it'll hold up better. It matches my other door mats so it's exactly what I needed.

Good winter mat to catch snow and dirt.

Purchased multiple times. Though it seems this past winters purchase, the absorbency was weak. The mat did not seem to hold the wetness. winter mat placed by front door. ended up cleaning and drying it out weekly if not twice a week

Great for small place

I haven’t used it yet as it’s to small for what I needed it for but I do have shorter ones that I’m using that are similar and they work perfectly, don’t move around much and collect pretty much everything that comes in the door..
