Underwhelmed.

I’m a huge fan of the detergent but these were pretty blah. No fresh citrus scent, and I didn’t notice any particular fabric softening benefit. But perhaps they’re fit for function. This is the first time I’ve used softeners in a over decade. So I have nothing except my expectations to compare them to.

Smells pretty good!

It's a little expensive, and the scent isn't really strong, but if you sniff hard enough you'll smell it on your clean clothes. I have sensitive skin, and it didn't get irritated while using this product, so i'd recommend it if you have issues with other detergents.

New Packaging is Horrible

I used to LOVE this product. The value was fantastic. It was a gallon size plastic bottle. Scent next to non, which i prefer and concentrated which gave the value for size of bottle. Now… Biokleen has changed it. Not only is the bottle 4x smaller ( i wont knock the cost as we. all know inflation is here ) BUT the packaging is recycled flimsy cardboard with a plastic bag inside. The outer portion crushes easily, if bumped or get wet from over drip or whatever. Then you are left with a plastic bag with a dispenser lid attached. I understand having recyclable materials etc, but this is just a waste. If I was receiving a larger plastic container for around $30 that had a concentrate up to 300 loads and now it’s a flimsy container that only gives me 64 loads. So basically I need 5 of these to equal 1 of the other. I don’t see where the “eco” is? We are talking 5 lids, bags etc, plus freight and production energy costs. Seems more like a marketing buzz ploy to prey upon consumers environmental awareness. In my option its a rape on my pocketbook and rape on the environment. I will look for a new product, which is a shame, as I had LOVED the product.

Arrives With Too Much Packaging, Doesn't Leave Fresh Smell

I like the idea, especially of the cruelty free and biodegradable element, but in the end it doesn't matter. The product arrives with so much plastic -- wrapped itself in plastic with tape, plastic bubble wrap and then a box -- that it doesn't really matter if the bottle itself is biodegradable. You're using way more packaging to order this product than if you just bought something in a plastic bottle at the store. It also doesn't leave things smelling fresh. Workout clothes have gradually gotten musty after three washes, and that doesn't work for me. Only good side is not doing animal testing.

Good product, horrible container

This recyclable material used to hold the laundry liquid is not a good idea. Mine was already leaking when it arrived. The liquid is weakening the cardboard material, it’s a matter of time before it starts leaking. If you get this I’d be cautious or put it in another container. I will buy this product again but not this version (cardboard/paper container).

I love this! I’m buying this again :-) Mine did not arrive leaking, thank goodness. I saw on other reviews where people said theirs was leaking. Mine was perfect. I actually transferred it into a glass dispenser that I have with a little cup so the kids can measure out the right amount. It’s very concentrated and so far I think it’s been an excellent deal and I like the way it cleans the clothes.

Great value, ships to the Virgin Islands and biodegradable in every way

This is my favorite detergent because it’s strong on stinky clothes and gets out stains. I’ve used other products that are similar and don’t quite work as well. No one Carry’s this in the Virgin Islands where I live half my year, so I have to order from Amazon. I’m grateful they changed their packaging because it makes the shipping more affordable. Best detergent out there, I didn’t want to have to switch.
